Apple I hate you for doing this to us. You've forced us over into the Thunderbolt 3, but many systems are out there (such as at universities) that require the old-fashioned usb or hdmi. At the Apple store they told me you guys no longer make this adaptor, which anyway lists for $70! I need to connect to HDMI every day for work and live in fear of losing this thing every day because it's no longer in the laptops themselves. You people are basically trying to lose customers - your new laptops suck as well. I am basically at my wit's end and haven't quit you altogether because you've roped me into your ecosystem. So, screw you, Apple, for making me buy this stupid thing and feeling scared of losing it everyday.

I use this to connect my cellular iPad to the HDMI input of my TV and enjoy watching videos on the bigger screen - from Netflix to Amazon Prime to Hulu, etc. Where I live, antenna reception sucks so I can even watch CBS/NBC/other networks shows through their respective apps, although sometime delayed a day.
