• Tamper Resistant (TR) receptacle has spring-loaded shutters that close off the socket openings. Unless both springs are compressed at the same time, the shutters can open. An important next step to making the home safer for children.
• LED Indicator will always be on, no matter it trips or works properly, indicating the on-going protection. Once it turns off, it means power source (circuit breaker) breaks off or GFI is malfunctioning. Contact customer service for a replacement.
• Easy Installation with back or side wiring. Standard wall plates, screws and installation instructions included. Caution: Do not unscrew the terminal screws too far or with excessive force.
