Unfortunately, there is still a lot of confusion about how to correctly use the Palo Santo sticks.

Often there are complaints about the fact that the sticks will stay lit only for a short time, leading to think that this is not an original product.

However, this is precisely one of the main characteristics of the Palo Santo sticks. Once lit, the fire must last only for a few seconds, otherwise the resin the gives the holy wood its unmistakable fragrance would burn too quickly. Therefore, if you see that the flame will stay lit only for a short time, don't be afraid, this is exactly what it is supposed to happen!

Once the flame is extinguished, you will see the sweet white smoke coming out of the stick. At that point, you can place the stick on an incense holder and enjoy the extraordinary aroma of Palo Santo.

To fuel the combustion you can gently blow on the embers reviving it as if we were giving energy to the sacred fire. Since it is a 100% natural product, it may happen that not all Palo Santo sticks have the same aroma and fragrance. Unfortunately this is inevitable, due to the intrinsic characteristics of the product.

If the sticks were a little wet, you might have some problems turning on the sticks. In these cases, we recommend letting them dry for a few hours before turning them on.
