Product Description
Palm leaf hats are built to last! The palm leaves are harvested from palm trees, then dried and sun bleached to gain the natural tan color. Once dried the leaves are split into narrow strips, braided and then sewn into the shape of the hat. Most hats require 150 - 200 feet of braided palm. Once sewn to shape, the hats are cold pressed on wooden molds to create an extremely durable and flexible hat. This lifeguard hat features a 5-inch brim and a vented pinch front crown to keep your head cool and allow air flow to prevent perspiration. Features an adjustable chin cord for safety and comfort. One Size Fits Most up to 23 inches (59cm).
