Great case BUT....

I really wish Corsair would stop being so cheap... If you spend almost $300 (well above almost every other case maker out there), you would think you would be getting a complete package.

This case is awesome and well designed, but I was really irritated that it comes with three smaller 120MM fans on the front, and not 240MM fans. Yes, it's my fault for not reading close enough to see what was included, but come on... It looks terrible, as there is a noticeable gap in the front between the fans and the slots they go in. Now I have to spend an extra $150 to get the right size fans for the front (P.S. Corsair, it won't be your fans...) so that it looks right. You may think I am overreacting, but if I pay premium pricing, I expect a premium product.

hard drive cooling is non existant. they will overheat if you install multiple HDs

This is a beautiful, well made, huge case. However, the hard drives and power supply are in a separate compartment from the motherboard for a clean look. This separate compartment has no active cooling. It has room for 3x 3.5" hard drives. The slots for them are right next to each other with no air space between them and no fan in the entire compartment. My power supply (also a corsair) has a fan for cooling but it only runs when needed and doesn't come close to pushing enough air to cool the hard drives. The middle drive was almost 60 C degrees when idle. The others sandwiched next to it were also 50+. I had to jury rig an additional fan to keep the hard drives cool. Not recommended.

Beautiful, Easy to Build In

This was my third major build, with my previous build being in an Air 540. I freaking love this case. You can disassemble the front, top, and bottom really easily, which gives you access to reach into tight spaces when necessary. There is also a lot of room in the back to easily mount a reservoir/pump if you're water cooling.

Plus, the SSD and HDD cages are super useful and keep things really organized and clean looking in the front. With room for 7 total drives, you can buy several small-ish SSDs and raid them, then fill the HDD cages with backup drives. Or do something else entirely.

There are also a bunch of places to hook zip ties for cable management. Overall, this case was a joy to build in and I'm happy with the purchase.

Oh, wait, there was one thing that confused me: the front panel looks like it can support a 420mm radiator, but the manual says it can only support 360mm. I bought a 360mm radiator and it kind of looks small. I'd be interested to know if anyone has successfully installed a larger radiator.

GREAT for Mini-ITX, not so great for mATX

Fair warning: My high butt is a sucker for RGB.

After carefully reading reviews online, I decided to use a Mini-ITX motherboard (ASUS ROG Strix B450-I). Thankfully I did. If you look closely in the pictures, you can see that with a Mini-ITX mobo, there is just enough clearance for the bottom fans and the case cable holes were clearly designed for Mini-ITX. A mATX board would be far too cramped in this case.

My build consisted of the H110i Platinum RGB water cooler, one ML140 fans, two LL140 fans, and two LL120 fans (one of which is on the other side of the case, unpictured). With two fans on the bottom and another two on top, a 240mm radiator will not have enough room for the front as the pipes will not have room. If you can get it to work, you will probably worry about leaks given the tight fit. Anyway, as such I decided to put the ML140 fan and one LL120 fan on the bottom for intake, the H110i on top for exhaust, the two LL140 fans in front for intake, and one LL120 fan in the back for exhaust to help keep that area from getting too hot. With this set up, my CPU (2700x @ 4.2 GHz) maxed out at 35.5 C and my GPU at 65 C with GTA V on max settings for 2 hours--with the tempered glass panels on. This was in CA with an ambient room temp of around 72 F. Air cooling or using an 8700K may be a problem though as the fans do have to work harder to move air with the panels on.

Cable management can be bit of an issue too depending on your build. The holes provided were great, but I ended up routing all the CPU-related wires through the upper left corner, and the GPU wires hard to be routed over the GPU instead of under to avoid the wires touching the bottom fan. However, some of the messiness you see by the GPU is due to the mobo design as the HD audio pins were all the way in the bottom left corner by the GPU. I also think this is due to how small the case is as well.

In the back, you have a 2.5" SSD bay in the upper corner toward the front and a 3.5" HDD bay in the other upper corner. The HDD bay can be accessed from the back (check the pics on the main page) and can also be detached for additional space. The SSD bay can probably be detached as well, but I haven't tried. One issue to note is that while the back panel allows for up to a 140MM fan, you will need to remember to keep that general area clear of wires when the space is already fairly cramped. I would highly recommend a semi- or fully-modular PSU. as you want as few wires in the back as possible. That being said, it's not like you will be playing Tetris at all.

The GPU and other possible PCI/-E components are held up by a smaller pivoting panel in the back held up by 2 screws. This panel has a small bump for where the screw normally would be on the components. You will have to hold the heavier components up (i.e. GPU) while re-screwing this panel back in place otherwise the component may be slightly slanted.

The case also requires one USB3 connector on the mobo. A mobo with a USB3 connector shouldn't be very hard to find at all, but in case you're going for a serious budget-friendly build, you may find some mobos without this connector.

Also, I have often wanted to get the H115i water cooler to replace the H100i cooler since it is 280mm (compatible with the top panel), but I worry about whether or not it would be too cramped with the front fan in place or if it would actually make airflow worse. The case is designed for air to come in from the front and exit through the top, so a larger set of fans would mean intake air will be pulled up much earlier/with more force. In my normal-person mind, I imagine this would make it a bit harder to replace the air in the back with fresher, cooler air or may even create a small low-pressure pocket for outside air to come in. This may be [incorrectly] over-thinking it, but it's still food for thought.

The length of the case only allows for smaller GPUs (< 300mm), so cards like the 2070 Duke or similar will not fit in the case.

One last thing to keep in mind before purchasing: the bottom has very little clearance. As such, avoid putting the case on carpet and maybe invest in a monitor stand to put this case on. I got the Rolodex 82411 Wire Mesh Monitor Stand, which is just the right side for the case. This has helped me cool my GPU much better, and I believe this allows more air to come in from the bottom even if I had put this case on a hardwood floor or something similar.

Beyond all this, this is a great case. I highly recommend this case if you account for all of the above.
-1 star for marketing this case as an mATX when an mATX build would not be very good in this case.

Great! but... Some things to keep in mind

I am using this case with a Mini-ITX build. Case quality is superb. The case looks nice and has plenty of room for cable management. The IO front panel is modern as well. Plenty of room for storage and drives. Everything is tool-less.

Only issue potential buyers may want to know is:
1) Using a M-ATX board limits your ability to put a radiator and thicker fans in the bottom of the case.
2) You cannot mount a 280mm, and two 240mm radiators at the same time.
3) If you mount a 240mm rad in the front, you cannot mount a 280 in the top, or 240 in the bottom. Rads with the hoses on the end of them (ie: Corsair h100i and h150i Pro) prevent a cooling fan to be installed on the end/side that the hoses stick out of.
4) Mounting a rad on the top may interfere with your MOBO power phase heatsinks, covered IO plates, ram dimms, and CPU coolers.
5) If mounting a rad in the front, longer GPUs won't fit.
6) There is not enough room under or on top of the case (outside of the case) to mount standard rad fans. Only the thinnest low-profile fans will work.
7) There is no room for 5.25 drives. This means no older HDDs, no CD/DVD/Blueray, optical drives etc.
8) Using a MATX board covers two of the 4 available gussets for cable management.
9) Using strictly airflow to cool components in this case results in higher than average temps (+20c avg. over water cooling). There is very little room for intake and exhaust.

My suggestion is to do research and make sure all of your components fit. There are lots of resources available for this case. If you can manage the above issues, this case is one of a kind and displays your build as a work of art.

Nothing more beautiful than a white matx case with 3 pieces of tempered glass to show off your build!

Everything is right about this case!

Its been so long since I built a PC and I knew I didn't want a huge case. Sure I could have gone smaller. But this is a perfect size! I love how the power supply has its own home. Cable management for days! Fits everything I need!

Sleek and tiny

Easy to build in. Comes with a Light Node Pro for the light show, but if you add more Corsair LL fans you will need to get a Commander Pro to control fan speed, otherwise the two it comes with connect to the motherboard and you set the fan speed in BIOS. Few things I didn't like, the front Headphone jack / Mic jack didn't work properly. Now Amazon did send me out a replacement case (for free) to try and fix the issue, but out of two cases neither worked. I could hear sound, but tons of static. I rerouted the HD audio cable several times, and again, tried a second case. At this point I'm blaming the motherboard HD audio port, because the rear ports on the motherboard work fine. The glass is wonderful, and perfectly clear. The main glass door mounting system is frustrating due to the lack of rubber mounting standoffs, (grommets are in the glass itself) but how often do you take the door off? The paint was clean, cables neatly zip tied, fans both mounted in the front. The most underrated thing about this case would be all of the magnetic dust covers. They cover the PSU intake, the fans on the bottom, fans on the top, fans on the front, and they're decent material for what they are anyway. Docked 1 star for audio jack issue, other than that it would be a 5 star case.

First time gaming PC builder...

This case is not only good looking but also extremely functional. Its large back area gives plenty of room to exercise cable management or just shove everything out of sight if you're lazy. The three panel glass system looks great and is an excellent way to show off your rig.

The smaller microATX stature is perfect for those who want a lot of PC punch in a small package. It looks great and isn't some unnecessarily large tower.

The airflow on this case is amazing. I moved both included RGB fans to the top so I could mount a AIO cooler on the front. In the future I will add some more fans to the bottom, since I've noticed my large graphics card blocks some of the airflow down there.

The only issue I found with this case is that the two rear screws that secure the PCI slots in the rear will strip the case under pressure. The screws on mine are crooked now, but its only noticeable to me since I know that I messed it up.

Overall, if you're looking for a small case that is great to look at and very easy to work with, I 100% recommend buying this one.

A REALLY good case that can be made even BETTER

It's a great case to introduce to the smaller form factor realm (mini-ITX and micro-ATX). The layout is functional for the most part, good size, quality build, and looks best in white.

Pair this with other white-ish components (B450M Mortar Titanium, ARMOR Radeon RX580 GPU, VENGEANCE PRO White RAM, C7 SFF Fan/Heatsink, RM750X PSU), and you'll have a nice black/white contrast build.

For Corsair:
- Make adjustments to the tempered glass and allow more air flow.
- Bundle the Commander Pro and ditch the Lighting Node.
- There are bits of areas on your case that could be more utilized!
- Switch out the feet for added clearance and better air flow.
- Re-evaluate your promo video for the Crystal 280X, including the use of fans and mATX compatibility. Like a disclaimer or something.

For Customers:
- Installing Windows on an M.2 and storing games/data on 3.5" or 2.5" HDDs? Remove one of the cages; you don't need both.
- Wanting to install 6 case fans? Might want to stick with 4 (2 on front, 2 on top).
- Still want to install 6 case fans? The bottom of the case is very debatable, considering how close they can get to your preferred GPU and/or the pins/headers of your mATX motherboard. Clearance may be an issue here. Same rule applies to radiators.
- There's a reason why AIOs exist in most current builds (especially by YouTubers), and why most builds do NOT have fans installed on the bottom.

Great case, extremely versatile.

The build quality of the case and looks are as amazing as the picture portray! Building in the PC was incredibly easy especially for a small form factor case like this! I do wish that this case were a few centimeters taller though to allow for fans in the bottom of the case (Kinda annoying to have an empty fan grille. With a micro ATX MB, its nearly impossible to fit any fans down there. That being said, I had no thermal throttling with the four fans I had on the front and top of my rig, so it's not a big issue. Overall, the case is fairly expensive compared to other micro ATX cases, but the looks, build quality, and ease of use are definitely worth it to anyone wiling to shell out a little extra cash for a high-end computer case!

Side notes:
-There is a ridiculous amount of hard drive storage, I had two 3.5-inch and three 2.5-inch hard drives all mounted in the rear hard drives bays without any issues
-Cable management is a little difficult in the back due to the small amount of space. While the front looks very clean, the rear chamber gets messy pretty easily. Not an issue though because you can't actually see into rear compartment.
-There isn't much room for a push-pull AIO unless you mount your radiator to the front of the case AND you have a short graphics card. I couldn't run a push-pull because my 1060 was way too long.
-BUY 140MM FANS! This case has great support for 140mm fans, as they can fit on every side of the case. I bought 120mm fans, and while they work, they look somewhat dwarfed in comparison to the 140mm metal cutouts in the front of the case.
