I was afraid to do this, but after being quoted $400 to fix the heating element and I could have bought a new one at that rate, I thought I would give it a try as I had nothing to loose. I did this myself with a little help from watching a video online and BAM. The dryer works like it was never broken. I didn't rate the longevity as I only did this a month ago, but if I get another year or two...great! You can't go wrong here and it looks just like the one I pulled out of the dryer.

I was hesitant to buy without any reviews but it was the only element available with same day shipping so I gave it a shot. It's been in about a week and it's working. Time will tell how long it lasts. I bought my previous one off Amazon for a similar price and it only lasted 2 years. Still way cheaper than hiring someone to replace it, so I'm happy for now.

Bought this to replace the original which lasted 6 years... This one blew in 6 months. Did it work well while installed? Yes. Is it worth 17 bucks for 6 months, no. Just buy the original equipment from Samsung unless you really need this price point. Otherwise, spending about 45 dollars on the original part will last you much longer.

Do not know about the longevity. The coils are a little larger hoops but less of them so I do not know if this will or will not help. Install this itself is easy to do but getting to the old one... Well there are a few videos for that. Overall for a lot less than a home service or a new dryer this is an incredible deal to hopefully keep the dryer going a few more years. If this fails in less than a year I will update.

Identical to the OEM part it replaced. My drier now heats instantly and dries clothes in a fraction of the time, so chances are this has been failing for quite some time. I'm thankful for having this option as a local supplier wanted to charge many times the price!

Got here quickly

Watched a video simultaneously as I unassembled the old housing to put in the new heating element. Fixed our issue as the old one had arched and burnt out. This was a fifth of the price as the one on Samsungs website too.

Our Samsung dryer stopped heating and we weren't sure what the issue was, so we thought we would replace the heating element to start with. Sure enough, the heating element had gone bad. We replaced it with this one and it works like a champ again!

I stalled a month ago and dryer is working. This is the second one in 4 years. Don't know if it's the part or OEM. Definitely louder than before but not sure why.

I like the product. Used it before. Lasted literally about a year. Also last time the company sent me thermostat that was need as part of the assembly. This time

The didn't so now I'm hunting that part down. Dry works but now heats up like a oven. Still can't beat the price as a temp fix.

Received today and installed in our dryer. As soon as we turned the dryer on the element blew. We heard a loud pop and the dryer never heated up. Very disappointed in this purchase.
