Light does not last

I purchased 2 packs of these as I was wanting to use them under by cabinet where my coffee maker is and also under my stove light hood. They do work as described and come on fairly bright, although I did have to use 2 over the coffee maker, but they do not last. I tried leaving the ones over the coffee maker on overnight and the next morning you could not even tell they were on, in the complete darkness. I even tried 2 different brands of batteries and they still dimmed after 7 hours. They will still serve a purpose for immediate lighting but not for something to leave on.

Improved puck lighting

I've used puck lights for years and it was time to replace a couple that were 6 years old. These are much brighter and the light produced is much more dispersed thanks to the nice diffusion pattern in the light cover... no bright blinding beam - but white warm light that illuminates a wider field compared to the older versions I've used. Still uses 3 aaa batteries. Back cover also holds together better too - I had to tape them on to keep them working. Well done pucks!

Perfect size for ikea play kitchen

Those lights are a perfect addition to my daughter's ikea kitchen playset! I wanted puck lights that weren't too bulky and could be turned on and off with a click (and not the sensor type).

These are particularly nice cause they're not too thick and the light is just enough to light up her kitchen set. I'm also particular about having warmer white light as opposed to the stark white/blueish light. This hue is decent as a bright white.

We use these lights when the sun is no longer angled through our windows in the afternoon and it's too bright outside for me to turn on our lights in the house. My 2 yr old can easily turn it on and off with a push and it's become an extra fun addition to her kitchen that makes it more realistic! I know there are a lot of lights out there, but I would recommend this 2-pack as it's affordable, slim and fits nicely with the ikea kitchen set.

I had several areas where I needed some light. I purchased this mainly for inside my gun safe. Placed it on the bottom of the shelf and now I can see what is going on in there. The other one was installed near my water heater so I could see to adjust the timer on the hot water circulator. Once again bringing light into the darkness.

Three AAA batteries and you are up and running. If you mount the upper case it can be easily removed from the mount to change batteries.

We lit a dark closet and also stuck one on the underside of kitchen cabinets to brighten the counters. Easy to click, shines sufficiently. We used 3M removeable adhesive strips instead of the supplied double-sided tape because we are selling the house soon and don't need that headache. These are small and very lightweight and we would buy them again if we needed more. I am sensitive to bright white lights because I'm always getting migraines but these don't bug me.

I bought two lights from the hardware store and put them in my cabinet but they just didn't do the job. So i ordered two more from amazon. Wow what a difference ! They are about the same price but yours are three or four times brighter, and the easy stick up adhesive strips made installation super fast.I'm very pleased.

Ideal for curio cabinet!

My curio cabinet is situated where no outlet is conveniently available, so I placed one of the puck lights inside, positioned to the front-most area of the cabinet's ceiling. It's perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. :) Just got it today, so I can't speak to how long the bulb or the three AAA batteries will last. It was super-easy to install -- with either the 3M adhesive disk (included), or two little screws (included). The on/off mechanism works easily by pressing the surface of the puck. I wasn't sure that the light would be strong enough to illuminate the bottom shelves, but it is! I'm very pleased.

Exactly what I was looking for. I used the adhesive option, which is very strong. The only thing keeping them from getting a five star rating is I wish they were just a bit brighter. But would definitely buy them again and recommend them.

This review has asked me to rate the feature "motion detection" and I don't believe these have a motion detection feature. These are what I call "tap lights" where I tap on the lens of the light and it turns on. I am very pleased with these! The upper cabinets in my kitchen have a little lip or skirt at the bottom, so these lights aren't visible when installed; I reach under the cabinet and with a light touch am able to turn them on when I need them. I didn't think I needed a remote for these lights (there were others that were sold with a remote) but I may eventually decide to swap these out for ones with a remote if there is a timer feature included in that remote because I can already tell I may forget to turn these lights off and drain the batteries. Still, it's so very nice to have under cabinet lighting under my cabinets. The only possible complaint I could have about these is that they take AAA batteries and I wish they took AA batteries, as these seem to be easier for me to find.

Nice bright emergency light

I've had different puck lights before and find them very useful since the wall switches are in peculiar, sometimes kind of dangerous places. I need a light to see the switch for the light over the stairs and I could see stepping off that top step in the dark. I also wanted to get a few of these to put around the apartment since the electric company has been threatening cut offs. One light is bright enough to see around the entire bedroom. One will go in the bathroom. Etc. You do need to provide 3 AAA batteries per light. I haven't checked if you can change the bulbs when they blow out, and I've had puck lights in the past that just stop working even after changing the batteries; some puck lights I've had for 5+ years that still are bright although I don't use them that often. I haven't tried installing these anywhere, they're just sitting on a flat surface where they are handy for now but they did come with screws and sticky tape so you have a choice as to how you wan to secure it.
