Fantastic screen protector!!

I just put one of these screen protectors on my phone last night. I watched the installation video on Supershieldz's website. They made it look super easy using the provided dust remover and three sticky tabs to help align, and keep in place, the screen protector on the glass of your phone. Well, it wasn't exactly as easy as they demonstrated, but I'm sure they've put on thousands of screen protectors. For me, I tried using the sticky tabs as shown. They helped a little, but I ended up ditching their method, and aligned it up much easier by eyeballing it. I did have one dust particle I had to deal with, but the protector was fairly easy enough to pull away from the glass. I easily removed the dust particle, and realigned the screen protector to the glass on my phone. I did use the provided alcohol pad to clean off the screen of my phone, and wiped it clean with what I thought to be a dust free cloth that was in a different screen protector I bought a while ago.

So, after aligning the protector to the glass on my phone, I made sure I pressed it down firmly, making sure there weren't any air bubbles or any other dust particles. I used the same dust free cloth the make sure it adhered to my phone.

This tempered glass screen protector is pretty much an exact fit for my LG V20 phone. It covers the whole screen from top to bottom, and left to right. I was able to put my Zizo case on my phone without any problem of interference of the screen protector being in the way.

The tempered glass protector is sensitive to the touch for using the keypad and any other function of the phone. Extremely nice quality!!

Not completely clear

Pros:
- Seems like it can flex a lot without breaking
- Hard to scratch

Cons:
- The adhesive is only around the border instead of covering the whole side of the glass, meaning the screen protector is ruined if any moisture is underneath while installing
- Adds a slight tint to the screen, not completely clear
- There is a dot grid visible when looking closely at the screen with the protector on, again not completely clear

Overall:

You can get used to the problems with it over time, but you shouldn't just settle for it. I suggest buying something else.

Not Tempered Glass.

I have always supersheilds screen protectors on my phones, today I dropped my brand new phone which had a tempered glass screen protector on it. I got lucky and my screen didn't break,. It I also discovered something. These are not tempered glass! The one that was on my phone pooped off (which is another issue altogether) and j accidentally stood on it afterwards (thanks goodness it wasn't my phone I stood on) but the protector didn't break!! If I stood on a regular tempered glass screen protector it would have definitely broken. I attached a video that shows just how far it would bend. Now I have been using screen protectors from my friends supersheilds for a long time I have used them on all but 1 phone I have ever had and that have saved my phone many times. I don't know if I just got a defective one or not but I feel that is is important that you know this, maybe it was just that something slipped through QA but I don't think so because I tried it on the second one that I got and it did break but only after it flexed almost 180 degrees!!! My phone screen will definitely break before the protector breaks.

The screens come two to a pack - in just 5 weeks they both failed and I'm shopping for screen protectors again. The adheisive is just a thin strip along the border, which sometimes lead to a funny gap/discoloration in the middle and I noticed I had to push harder when trying to drag my phone menus at the top and bottom of the screen. The first screen lasted me 3 days before I dropped my phone (slipped from my hand - maybe a 2.5 foot drop to the floor) and the screen popped right off, landing a foot away. I installed the second screen, pressing the edges more firmly. This one lasted about a month before another short drop shattered the protector and sent it flying off my phone.

this screen protector is great. It protects the screen from damage. Unfortunately, life being what it is, I dropped my phone. It shattered the screen protector. "No Problem" I think, since that's why I bought the screen protector.

Later, I take my phone back to my room to replace the screen protector (this is a two pack, after all).

I proceed to peel the screen protector off the phone, when, to my surprise, the screen and the digtitizer come along with it.

I'd take pictures, but it's sort of hard when your only phone is missing it's entire screen assembly.

Easy Install, Great Fit, Good Sensitivity, Very Reflective, Rainbows

Actually installed this after my phone screen was saved by the previous screen protector (PThink). This one was very easy to install and works well with both the Poetic Revolution case and the case which came with iPossible battery. It seems slightly thicker glass than the PThink. I find it very reflective and have to tilt it some in bright light to see the screen clearly (wasn't an issue with the previous protector). Also, I never really understood what "rainbowing" was but now it happens regularly with this screen - not all the time, but definitely crops up, mostly in a small section usually near the lower center screen. It's not a big distraction, but definitely noticeable when the screen is dark. It also attracts fingerprints/smears more and requires a little more work to clean - not super bad, but I notice the difference after over 6 months using the previous protector.

I don't doubt for a minute that this protector would save my screen from breaking just like the other one did.

Overall I'm satisfied and not rushing to change it. But at some point I will and will definitely go back to the PThink.

I purchased this screen protector back in August and went through both within a month. I reached out to the company regarding the warranty replacement and had a new pack within a few days. As far as protection, they work great, but the first set seemed short lived. My phone slid off a counter and the screen protector popped off and shattered but my cell was perfectly fine. The second one met its end when I reached down to pick up something in the mall. My phone was fine, but the screen protector bounced and slid across the store. It definitely does it's job but once they're off they don't seem to re-attach. Hopefully this set can take more than 1 hit.

I have an LG V20 and have had it for years now. Great phone and all I really need, still. I bought this two pack protector kit back when I got the phone and I have just removed my first protector. The phone has been repeatedly beat on and banged up, and the protector had cracked long ago. I neglected to replace it for a long period of time but the protector did its job and held the cracks and my phone is in great shape. I just used the kit again, as I said, to install the second protector and as soon as this one is cracked enough to not see I would say I will need to turn the phone in for another. These are awesome, and for my next phone I will find this company and buy more from them.

Scratching the screen

I liked the black ring around this screen protector, I feel like it would make it easier to forget there's even a screen protector. What I don't like is that it's only adhesive around that black boarder. It made it really easy for dust, dirt and moisture to get underneath to my screen and it's impossible to remove the dust without making a bigger mess of it. I didn't keep it on my phone long enough to see how well it would stand up to dropping it, but I did notice after pulling it off my screen had scratches all over where I used my phone the most (the drop down notification bar, side scrolling etc). Very disappointing.

This has the same issue as virtually every V20 glass screen protector. There is no adhesive on most of the screen protector, just around the edges. The huge majority of the screen protector doesn't adhere to the screen at all. Even with perfect installation it doesn't look good or function well. It has the typical issue of having a weird rainbow blur on the screen, mostly in the middle area. It seems to be a smear that moves around the screen as you use the phone (pushing your finger against the screen makes the smear move around). I basically had to remove the screen protector after the first day, it was very annoying.

Additionally the glass has a visible dot pattern to it that is quite distracting. Completely unacceptable, especially with a nice, big screen phone.

The package does come with a nice set of installation aids, stickers and cleaning cloth. It's the design of the phone that makes this issue hard to fix but given that this is a known problem, companies should not be selling protectors that do such a poor job. At the very least, they should make it very clear in the product description that the rainbow issue will be there and the screen protector will not adhere to the screen anywhere but on the edges.
