The fairies of today's legends are a combination of many folkloric figures, including elves, pixies, and brownies. Though fairies in older tales usually flew on the backs of birds or on twigs used like witch's brooms, most modern fairies are depicted with insect-like wings sprouting from their backs. Each Super TOOB is 2 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 13 inches tall, or a bit larger than the size of a standard American ruler. The 12 figurines inside range from 1.25 to 3.75 inches tall.
