Cheap waster of money

I didn't know how thin the cable was. The cable and length is a bad match. I used to for my Nest camera to get more distant out of it from where I wanted to mount it. The cable is so thin, I couldn't get the camera to come on line. No matter what I did; I tried paring the camera to my WiFi at the computer, then mounting it after; STILL NOTHING...Would not come on line. I ended up going to Best Buy and purchased a thicker cable, and guess what? As soon as I plugged it in and turn the camera on; right on line.

Lately, I purchased couple of WyseCam wireless security cameras. The security camera comes with only 6ft of mini USB cable. I am getting this 25 ft cable to power the WyseCam. It's compatible with WyzeCam with perfect fit to connect both the WyzeCam and the power plug that comes with the WyzeCam. So, no mechanical or electrical related issues.

This 25 ft cable is pretty thin and very flexible (not rigid at all). It's easy to run it around the wall corner. I even paint it over with the matching wall color to make the cable less visible to the view.

For this low price (don't even need to pay sales tax), I really have no complaint. I would definitely recommend both the WyzeCam and this 25 ft extension cable to my friends, co-workers and relatives.

When I first plugged this into my wyze cam a month ago, it worked great. It is in an upstairs bedroom used for storage and gets very little traffic. The camera and plug are in a far corner and have not been touched. About 3 weeks in, I started having trouble with the camera. It seems the power was either coming and going or too weak. Basically could not connect to that camera for 2 weeks, and would repeatedly get errors and recommendations to power cycle the camera. I swapped the cord for the original shorter cord that came with the camera and plugged it into an extension cord. Issues solved.

I bought 4 of these. Waste of money.

Using this as the power cable to my outdoor mounted Wyze cam and it works great. I was a little concerned given the length but took a chance and am very happy with it.

I purposely wait to review most items as I want to make sure that they will hold up and not fail in a short amount of time. This cable has been working for a couple of months now and no problems at all.

I can't speak to the data transfer rate at this length as I am using it strictly as a power cable. If you're looking for a good quality cable for your camera or other peripheral, this is a good choice.

Updated 3/2019 - i ordered just one 25' cable initially to be sure it would work out. it performed well, using it outside. so we ordered a second cable section to complete our home project. these are great cables and priced very well IMHO considering the length & quality.

we needed a longer cable for one of our wyze cams we use outdoors. the one we had gotten before was 5' shorter than this and cost a buck more. considering that i found the quality of the cables side by side to be nearly identical as far as i could tell IMHO a great value. so all in all i am very happy with this cable and would easily recommend it to others.

Almost a perfect fit for the Amazon Camera...

Solid, well built, good fit and almost perfect. For those of us with the Amazon Camera, the problem is that the connector does not have a 90 degree elbow like the 10 footer from Amazon. So unless you have a mounting with clear access behind the camera, you'll soon discover the problem with a straight cable connector. But fear not, next buy a micro-USB 90 degree elbow like this one (Ksmile® 1 Pair Right Left Angle Micro USB Male 90 Degree USB Male to Micro Female Plug Adapters) or perhaps buy a long cable from another company that comes with the elbow on the micro-USB port connector.

A cord that Works perfect for Wyze Cams

Works great with the Wyze Cam's!! A must have if you want to position your camera farther than 5 ft. from an outlet. I ran the cord through the outside attic vent above my outside storage room and down the ceiling to an outlet with plenty left over coiled up in the attic. Will recommend to anyone with plug in style cameras!!�

Does not work with WYZE Cam.

The app has very poor network stability when using this cable with WYZE cam. It will be searching for the camera all the time. The camera app suggests reducing the resolution to accommodate the poor cable (voltage too low with long cable at the camera). I returned it to Amazon. The app with the WYZE standard cable and A/C adapter is very stable for me.
