Cloudy Splotches appeared out of nowhere days after the install

The service was fine, arrived on time. The size and quality of the product are good, it fits the IntelliLink screen in my Sierra Denali almost perfect. I really wish this would have worked out, it's a great idea, and I really liked the way it looked after I got it installed. BUT mine had a fatal flaw, maybe it was just mine, I don't know...?

What I do know is that I'm as OCD as anyone you've ever known. I followed the install directions perfectly. The product looked awesome and perfect once installed for 2-3 days then out of nowhere it developed 4 random "cloudy" splotches that looked like big, greasy, thumb smudges... Tried to clean in it with a brand new micro fiber towel and good quality window cleaner; nothing happened, cloudy splotches are still there. I kept it on my IntelliLink screen for an extra 3-4 days thinking maybe some heat had gotten behind it or perhaps some condensation got behind it? Nope, nothing was behind it and the cloudy splotches were still there, not any worse but not any better so I gently removed the thing from my Nav Screen and tried to clean, rub, and polish off the cloudy splotches on both sides of the thing, no luck, splotches still there. The cloudy splotches appear to be inside the shield as if it were 2 pieces molded together and somehow a chemical reaction occurred delaminating or discoloring it, total bummer!

Again, I followed the directions to a "T" and spent nearly 30 minutes installing this and prepping the IntelliLink screen to make sure there were no smears, no residue, no oily finger prints, no dust, no nothing...

It looked perfect with no bubbles or air pockets or anything for the first 2-3 days, my passengers loved it when I showed them after I had just got it installed, they thought it was awesome and asked how they could get one for their Escalade's and Denali's... I haven't talked to them yet to see if they've installed theirs yet or not but if they did, I'm crossing my fingers like Crazy that they have better luck than me and that I didn't accidentally turn them onto a waste of time and money.

Fit my 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 great. There is a small gap around the edges, but I believe that is so you can remove it later if desired. It cut down the fingerprints greatly compared to the original screen.

The dust collector leaves a mark on the screen protector , ( the tear drop of the collector ). luckily i saw it and re-cleaned before installing. Also , be sure to wear rubber gloves if you have them instead of the suction cup ( suction cup also leaves a mark ). At this point i have two (2) bubbles bout the size of tip of finger showing. bubbles are supposed to disappear within a couple of weeks, if not i'll call for a replacement.

This protector looks great on my screen. i would buy it again. Make sure you clean Your screen and is free of any Debris, I used duct tape to remove dust and other particles. The install is a one time shot so be very gentle when pushing it agains the screen... once is on it, the glue will do the rest, so basically all you have to do is push it and let it seat by itself. Two screens came in my order.

Similar to cell phone screen protectors - this device installs over the infotainment screen in your truck. Just apply the suction cup to the front of the glass and then peel off the film on the back side of the glass. Then apply the screen protector to the screen, and you're all set.

Started with a new screen, worked perfect. Test fit first to know how it will fit, and know how it aligns before removing backing and starting install. Looks perfect and a few "bubble" spots couldn't be pushed out but by the next day they are gone. Does not darken the screen with polarizing sunglasses, like the factory protector. Recommended.

Honestly, any negative review about this I just do not understand. It came well packaged. It had everything you need. It's easy to install. But the real kicker is that the radio now has a totally different look. It appears as if it's one of those ultra high end capacitive touch screens. Crazy. Fit is 9.5/10. Look 10/10. Ease of install 10/10. Amazing. Don't hesitate.

Just get it on clean and straight.. The bubbles will go away after a few days.

I was stressing that I would have to remove it with as many bubbles that were there..
4-5 days later, they were all gone. Screen is a little less sensitive, but I was expecting that...

One MAJOR flaw...

The protector fits nicely and feels good when you slide your finger around and resists smudges. But... the suction cup that's supplied for application left a weird mark on the screen protector that will not wipe off. I have no idea other than maybe the silicone suction cup has some kind of reaction with the protectors coating. It's really annoying and can't believe that the manufacturer would provide an accessory that mares the finish of the product. Do NOT use the suction cup! I can't believe only one other review mentions the mark left by the suction cup.
