The thread is holding up really nice, not breaking at all which is a commonly problem I run into with the cheaper thread! Fantastic investment! I just wish there had been two or three whites in the pack same for blacks, but that's my oversight! Very happy with this purchase 10/10 would recommend. Also, I've been using it to make friendship bracelets, so this review comes from that lenses.

Beautiful vibrant colors

I purchased these for miscellanous embellishments, etc. for crochet. The colors are vibrant and the thread looks to be sturdy. I haven't used them yet. I would recommend them, at least for what I plan on using them for. I arranged them on the photo to show the hues in each color.

I received this embroidery string quickly in the mail.

The colors I received were bright and vibrant. They were pretty much on par with what was shown in the picture.

I believe there was only one repeat of the same color which was in the red family.
Each color was packaged and wrapped individually.

It was easy to access and unravel.
Individual cards were included for each color -if you wanted to re-wrap, which came in quite handy.

It was easy to separate the strands.

While it was not the highest quality embroidery string I have ever used, I honestly have no complaints with the quality of this item.

I believe it all depends upon which type of project you are doing.
This item was bought specifically for crafts in the friendship bracelets and similar categories.

My only problem was there was not a lot of length to each individual color.

More than ones I ran out of a color before I was done with a specific section .

so I had to start in the middle with a new color.
In the end it turned out looking very nice and had a cool rainbow/ombre affect

But if you needed a lot of 1 color you may run out before you are ready to.

I gave this item 4 stars because of the: price, the quality, the color assortment, how quickly it arrived, it arrived in good condition, the added cards to help rewind/separate the colors was helpful, for friendship bracelets and similar level crafts, this is a perfect little package.

I believe it could be good for embroidery, but it also depends upon what you were trying to do, and your intended end results.

I was worried that the affordability of these would make the string cheap, flimsy, or dull. None of these is the case! I was very happy with the string that I received. Many great colors to make friendship bracelets with my little nieces and nephew. Only small issue was that the 3 darkest colors (black, navy, and grey) would sometimes rub off on my fingers slightly while making a bracelet. Otherwise, these are great!

Im using these for friendship bracelets, but they would be great for any project. The string quality is good and the colors are same as pictured. It also comes with little plastic spools to wrap opened skiens

The quality/texture is definitely different than the thread I'm used to using while cross stitching. It looks good as a finished product. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because not much thread comes with each color and the fabric is so soft that I can't keep a knot in it and I have to retighten after every hole or the thread falls off the needle.
