Top tier quality for a steal of a deal. This 4 pack is highly recommended for any retro gamer. Furthermore, regardless if you never use more than 1-2 controllers at a time, you'll have back up wires "just in case" the ones you actually use go out over time. Buy 4 instead of 1 is the point I'm making.

Have an adult-sized living room but still crave some Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart 64? Can't go wrong with these for the price. Other reviewers had quality issues but I suppose I got lucky; 15 bucks got me four fully functional extensions. We even double them up for ultra-relaxed 2 player mode - no issues!

It is a loose fit where the controller connects to the extension. The fitment of the extension into the console is nice and tight. It may be by design, so that if someone trips over cable, it will detach, but it was not desirable to me. I slightly heated and reshaped the connector ends where the controller plugs into them to add a little more grip. It took about 10 minutes and worked well. All of the cables work, but looking into the end of one of the cable, one of the pins is noticeably shorter than all of the rest. I was afraid that it would not make good contact, but it does work. Overall satisfied. The do what they advertised. They aren't first party peripheral quality, but they aren't first party price either!

So I

Bought this and it worked perfectly...until I actually had 4 people at the house! Than I find out one of the extenders doesn't work and it's passed my "return date"

This is a great idea but the quality sucks. This is my second purchase of this item in a year. The part where the wire connects to the port is nowhere near secure enough, you can literally pull the black wire casing all the way back. Still, they are cheap, so what do you expect?
