Like all of these type pellets short smoke time. It would make more sense to me if they made them cigarette length, but good enough for a one hive

Picture and description makes you think the pieces you are buying are sizable and worth buying 🛑🛑🛑 this product is a rip-off! I purchase and give all products a fair assessment, but this is a bait and steal item they set you up and steal your money!

I'm a beginning beekeeper, and I have two hives. I was looking for an easy way to produce smoke for my hive inspections. Beekeepers give all kinds of advice on what to use for the smoker fuel - from burlap to cotton cloth to wood chips. It was all too comlicated for me, and these little fuel pods solved my problem. They are easy to light with a lighter and last enough for one hive inspection. I usually use two at a time to produce denser smoke and blow on them until the whole surface on one end is burning before putting them in the smoker. Lasts about 15 minutes and keeps the bees calm.

It smells really good once you get it going. I had difficulty trying to keep it lit and I had to add an extra one. I have two beehives so it's going to take about 1 for each hive depending on how fast you are.

Not worth it. Burned out quickly with minimal smoke. You're better off purchasing 10 yards of burlap, cutting it up into 5-10" squares, and burning that. Much more smoke, longer burn time, and easier to ignite. Won't be purchasing smoker pellets ever again.

Had high hopes for this product. Was hard to light and only lasted maybe 10 minutes. I put 2 in the smoker and hardly any smoke was coming out. The bees didn't seem to worry about it either.

Don't waste your money

After trying two of these pellets in my smoker, the rest of the package went into the garbage. It took forever to light, when it finally did, it was due to the burlap that I put into the smoker trying to keep the flame going long enough to light the pellet. The smell is NOT a scent I want to be smelling, it made my husband and I gag, like a nasty incense. I will try gathering my own pine needles next. At least I know that'll smell much nicer!

Huge waste of money

I was really disappointed when I receive this product. It would not stay lit long enough to start smoking in the bee smoker. I ended up using an old 100% organic cotton T-shirt, stuffed it into the bee smoker, lit it up, and it worked great. I definitely would not make this purchase again, was a huge waste of money.
