In fairness (and thankfulness), I did not need to use this during my trip. However, giving it 1-star because the requirements for use are a bummer, especially when traveling. First, it comes with little cups that are marked so you know how much water to add. These annoyances are a pain when packing. Second, you need water. Not a big deal until you're traveling to places where faucet water is not safe and bottled water is a premium. Travelers would do better with getting Pepto chewable tablets...no water required and extremely easy to pack.
