I have a Roomba 805 and this does not work for it. You can see in the picture that the narrow part of the shaft on this new part is fairly longer than the OEM part. This causes the assembly to sit deeper into the Roomba and ends up locking and prohibits this part from spinning with the weight of the vacuum on it. Roomba just wobbles back and forth because this won't rotate with direction.

This replacement wheel works with the 980 model perfectly! Recommend lubricating the spindle lightly with lubricating oil to ensure wheel spins freely. My iRobot 980 is back to perfect running condition. Highly recommend this product.
