Extensions trump wireless controllers for the NES

Learn from my mistake...don't get the wireless controllers, get the extension cables. None of the wireless controllers seem to work for more than one or two tries. I got so frustrated trying to troubleshoot and get them reconnected that I broke down and bought these extensions. The only problem with the extension cables is you have to be careful with your young kids that they don't run by it and rip it out of the NES.

If you own an SNES Classic these extension cords are a must buy. Now I can finally play comfortably while sitting on my couch instead of the floor 3 ft away from the screen. The length of the controller cord by itself is about 5 ft and doesn't leave you much room to stretch. The extension cords add 10 ft to give you about 15 ft of slack in the cord which is SO much better even for a big living room. And it comes with 2 cords! For $11 you can't beat that. So unless you like sitting 2-3 ft away from your TV screen while playing 16-bit era games (RIP eyes) this is a must have for the SNES Classic edition.
Stopped working after about 15-20 minutes.

I rarely write reviews, but this item just infuriated me. Both of these stopped working almost immediately upon regular use.
Bought this with, obviously, an NES classic and extra controller. Happily plugged one of these thing in so I don't have to sit hunched over the TV. The first cable worked just fine....for a few minutes. After maybe 10 minutes I was wondering if maybe the controller was broken, I would press buttons and nothing happens. But then unplugged the extension cable and plugged in the regular controller - totally fine. It wasn't the controller.
I thought there was no way that BOTH cables would have a problem. I tested the other one for 5 minutes and it was fine. I spent a while with Amazon trying to see if there was a way to only exchange 1 cable, not both. Luckily, that didn't go far. I thought twice, and the next day tested the other cable for about 30 minutes, and sure enough, it eventually gave out, too. Now neither cable works for any time at all. How do you mess up an overpriced cable??? Button presses either don't happen, or buttons stay "pressed" like the signal that the button was let go never was sent.
17 days for delivery and then does not work.

This product is terrible. Not only did it take 17 days to be delivered from out of the country when it says "Prime" I finally received the item and it doesn't even click into the console like the authentic contollers do. I'm so upset I waited for this. I feel like I got scammed. Buyers beware.

I bought this controller extension cord for our living room that way we could comfortably play our snes classic from our couch, I actually connected both these together to add another 20 foot, there doesn't seem any connection loss and I've played multiple games and the controller still responds great! I already bought another set to add 20 foot to my second controller, it has been well worth the money!

It is what it says it is, two 10-foot NES Classic controller extension cords (also works for SNES Classic). You can connect both cords to extend 20 feet. When storing, you can bundle the cord, wrap the male and female ends around the bundle and plug them together so you won't need a twist-tie. Seems to work okay so far. And you get two for $7.99, which I guess is a good deal. I might've paid $9.99.
I guess the only complaint I have is that since you have more space between you and the console, you have to physically get up and walk over to it in order to reset and change games. There is no in-game option to exit the game and go back to the main menu, but that's an indictment on the console design. I suppose, ideally, you'd need a long enough HDMI cable, as well as an extension cord for power in order to have the console within arm's reach.
Works perfectly... when it works.

I bought these cables for my SNES classic. I was super pumped to grind through Super Castlevania IV from the comfort on my couch. But, I was in for a real scare the first time I plugged in the controller with this extension cord. The SNES classic did not recognize any controller inputs. I tried unplugging the extender and plugging it back into the console. I tried unplugging the SNES pad and plugging it back into the extender. Nothing worked, until randomly it did. Once the SNES classic started recognizing my inputs there were zero issues. No input lag. No missed inputs. Works perfect! However, I've had the same issue with failed inputs at startup almost every time I've used the product. Like, I have to unplug and re-plug each component once or twice almost every time I powerup.
So overall the product works great and I recommend it at its current price point, but don't expect 100% flawless performance every time. You will get some issues here and there, but they are definitely solvable.

Absolutely as advertised. I bought the SNES Classic for my girlfriend for Christmas because she'd begged for it for so long. After realizing the cables included were the standard length, I stumbled across these 10 ft. extensions on Amazon and they work PERFECTLY. Great product. I'd recommend these to anyone with the SNES Classic that doesn't wanna sit 3 ft. in front of their TV. Lol

The cables arrived super fast and were in excellent condition. They work perfectly with my SNES Classic Edition (even when I put two extensions together to make one super-long cable)! Excellent product. The cables are soft and flexible, not stiff and rigid. The connectors feels solid and quality, not flimsy and cheap. Thanks for making such a simple, affordable, solid product. If you own an SNES Classic Edition system, I highly recommend these to help extend your controllers' reach (especially if you have a large living room). And the company is very customer-oriented and helpful if you have any problems.
