I can't say that I have germinated every seed and tried all the varieties. The variety is great that is why I purchased this set of seeds. Well that and the price. Which is great. For the money you get tons of seeds and the germination was nearly 100%. I started 30ish rockwool with two seeds in each and all but one sprouted with 2 sprouts. To me that is a fantastic rate. Very high quality product. I will purchase again (if I ever run out). Also will be looking to this brand if they offer other seeds that I need. Yes I would recommend to a friend and all of those who read this. Hope this helpful and thanks for reading.

Color me gobsmacked. On a gamble, I sowed these seeds when it should have been too hot for good results. I had excellent germination in just four days, and the photo shows lettuce ready to begin harvesting in only ***three and a half weeks!!*** The taste was excellent, not bitter as I might expect in this heat. Now it's a month since I took this photo, none of the plants have yet bolted. These are by far the best lettuce seeds I've ever grown.

So I live in sunny California where it rarely falls below 75 degrees even at night. I bought these seeds in July and was excited about my plan to grow lettuce at home. Whenever I buy it from the store I never eat the whole bunch and I really just need a few sprigs for my salads so this seemed like the perfect solution. After buying the seeds and doing some reading I learned that the plant likes to grow in temperatures around 60 degrees Fahrenheit. My beautiful collection will have to wait for the Winter Season.

For me, this was a bit of a gamble. My family are not big salad or lettuce eaters but I've been trying to steer everyone onto healthier diets, so why not have a wide lettuce selection be part of our expanse. Not only did the lettuce grow in under three weeks, but the flavor knocked the ball out of the park!
The lettuce my family normally purchases at food markets is bland and flavorless. The lettuce from these seeds packs quite a punch and now everyone I know who's had a taste of this lettuce wants more and more. Not only do I have enough for my parents, me, and an always-eating-food brother, but enough for our neighbors, family friends, and several big parties!
I'll buy some more of these seeds when I run out of the supplies I currently have stashed.

I bought 8 packets (Lettuc Lovers Selection) from Seed Needs.
It was my first time doing so. They pretty much had 90-95% germinated success and I could not have been any more pleased with the quality and the uniformity of all eight lettuce strands!
Thank you Seed Needs, I will DEFINITELY be back! You get what you pay for, and I got SO MUCH MORE!!!!

Seeds were fantastic. The variety of types of lettuce made for great salads and they all germinated when planted for both my spring and fall planting. I grew several pockets of each in my GreenStalk Vertical Garden and they all grew in abundance. I had more lettuce than we could eat from May to mid-December so we could share with others. Just clip off what you need to use. Best if you cut in the morning, wash, & refrigerate to avoid wilting. I'm starting up a community garden using GreenStalk Vertical Gardens and plan to order from Seed Needs. Thanks!
A Waste of Time and Money!

I planted all 8 packets and only one type of lettuce came up. Huge waste of money. I'll buy locally from now on!! I've been gardening for almost 50 years and this was a great disappointment! Very expensive and POOR RESULTS!

Growing the Oakleaf and Black Seeded Simpson (pictured) varieties thus far in my office window, both have grown nicely and taste great (eating them as a means to thin them out while they grow). Seeds seem to sprout quickly and reliably.

I am still NEW to gardening, so don't let that reflect on the company or the seeds. I had A LOT of trouble getting the red lettuces to grow....I may have started them in TOO HOT of a season...not sure. Most of the greens turned out really well. I think some wildlife ATE all of the iceberg, so I never got to try it. The "collection" of seeds is VERY convenient for new gardeners. I would definitely buy it again for next season and give greater care for the red lettuces next time. Thank you so much!

Me llegaron a tiempo y es lo que describieron en la actualidad estoy esperando que las semillas broten, cuando pase les agrego fotos, es muy importante para mi que añadieron instrucciones para plantar las semillas.
