I prefer the KZ ZS4 for the same price.

I got these KZ ZSTs for $19. Right after trying these on, I felt like the audio coming from these don't sound right.

I tested these by listening to music and I also watched a movie and here is what I found:

If you have never tried headphones with multiple drivers before, you'll definitely be able to hear the difference. You'll hear things in music and movies that you have never heard before. Little details that all of a sudden stick out and add new flavor to what you're listening to. Even in a movie action scenes, all of a sudden, in the midst of all the destruction, you can hear shattering glass clear as day. Actually, I would say that this clarity is too intense, especially in the high end. The highs stick out way too much. Hearing shattering glass in a movie is actually ear splitting.

When listening to music, the lows and the mids don't seem to have as much presence. Vocals seem covered up by instruments and I don't really feel any bass. You can hear bass frequencies just fine. It's kind of punchy. However, if you are someone that likes bass, you'll find these extremely lacking.

I tried compensating for the lack of bass by increasing the volume. I found that the highs just make everything sound like clashing cymbals.

After a while, the ZSTs also start to hurt my ears.

I picked up a pair of KZ ZS4s for the same price and I am much happier with them. It has a better sound in my opinion with the clarity from multiple drivers. The lows and mids are much more present. It seems to have better over all balance and sound.

Absolutely blow me away... "Pro" quality at a "junk" price!

So, I do a lot of live music performance (twice a week), and we've used all sorts of different ear buds. From $300+ Sonys down to $10 drugstore generics. These are barely more than the cheapest ones available and yet rival the performance of the $300 Sonys. Our worship leader even has some custom molds ($1k+), and can't tell much of a difference between those and these. We ended up buying a pair for every member of the worship team. So far the only problem we've had is losing them... Other than that, they're all still working fine after over a year.

If I'm being picky, I'd say they need to actually attach the cord to the buds. It makes no sense, on a set that's so cheap, to make them detachable. That only makes sense when the buds cost hundreds of dollars and you break the cable and would rather not have to replace the whole thing. It's really annoying trying to make sure you connect them properly, and they don't include directions, so you're left to figure it out on your own. Also, this isn't a common occurrence, since they're a pretty snug fit, but at times one of the buds will get separated from the cable and you have to figure it out again. Not a huge issues, but it's REALLY annoying when it happens as you're walking up on stage. If they fix this minor annoyance, they'd definitely get 6 stars from me :o) (I guess I could see this being a "pro" rather than a "con" if you like to only use one ear bud and simply leave the other one off).

They're great!

I've spent hundreds of dollars on sure and ultimate ear IEM's and it's always been the same problem, the damn cable shorts outs somewhere between the jack and the monitors and they become useless! To me, these sound just as good if not better than the $300.00 Sure's their replacing, and if the cable goes bad, it's just $12.00 to replace, and I'll always have extra on hand. These are the best deal out there, even if they cost 5 or 6 times as much, they can't be beat!

To get something better you'll have to spend about 40 times the price of these

For the money, you can't go wrong.

I bought these to have a back up to my shure 425's. We use in ears at my church and my band occasionally uses them too. Once I got these and tried them, I have yet to put my shure' s back in. Seriously. They sound as good if not better, they are far more comfortable, they never slip out of my ears and due to the price I'm not worried about losing them.

I have now told everyone on my worship team about these. We're all wearing them now!

Another Chi-Fi win? Almost.

My first impression is that I prefer the cheaper KZ ATEs to these. Out of the box, these are NOT neutral sounding..but they aren't bad sounding either. The bass and highs seem over emphasized so much so that the mids are somewhat lost as a result. The bass seems to over power any subtleties that would have been in the low or low-mids, the highs are ALMOST shrill...not unlistenable though .I suspect (hope) they will sound better after they break-in a bit. On the plus side they isolate outside noise very well and are comfortable to wear for longer periods of time.

Inexpensive but good quality and great sound.

These earbuds sound great. I hd a set of shures that cost $125.00. Those failed because the wire broke and couldn't be repaired. The sound of these is better and the wire can be swapped. The bass is good, they're plenty loud, external noise rejection is good and the build quality seems good as well. Overall, the sound is very balanced. Also, the ear hooks work well to keep the buds in your ears. I tested these with my wireless system and they're a big improvement over the stock ear buds that came with it. You have to press pretty hard when plugging the cable into the buds but once it's secure, it seems to be well connected.

Fairly Comfortable and Noise Canceling

These work pretty well, only dislike is that the black parts that go in the ear seem to fall off very easily. So if you're a musician using these, and often let them hang around your neck while not in use, they may hit each other and knock off that black part. Otherwise would buy again, good product for the price, have been using for a good few months now and no complaints other than that.

I use this on sundays when I sing at church. I love it and totally worth it for the value. I made the mistake of dropping them and someone probably stepped on them so my left in ear tends to come off easily. After this incident I hear some noise in the background but they still work great. The in ears are great though! They fit my ear great which is normally an issue.

Decent for the cost

Great product with decent sound. Highs are a bit harsh

Edit: 4 star because left bud has sound issues when pushing in (probably from suction). Have to let it sit in ear for 20 seconds for the pressure to return to normal, but when adjusting, it happens again

Been using these for a few weeks now. Sound great! I added on some memory foam tips for a proper seal which you'll definitely want for the best sound. No complaints at all! Will definitely be buying a backup pair soon!
