Strong lightweight works very well

I had to get rid of my old set (20 yrs) because they were starting to show their age. Some minor rust spots on the lip. I bought these to replace them. I bake frequently and these are nice and lightweight. I liked that they came in a set of three or i could buy them singly, the set is more than adequate without being cumbersome by adding more "‹bowls.

Saw this being used by Chef John at Food Wishes.com and purchased from Amazon. After using for several weeks, I enjoy the fact that the three sizes are functional and the light weight is a terrific bonus. They clean and store very easily.

Nice but not heavy duty

These bowls were a great price. I needed several sets for a home ec club I teach and for that purpose they are great. I believe they are sturdy enough to do the job, but if they are dropped they might dent easily. For my use it was great to find stainless bowls at a reasonable price to be able to purchase several sets without breaking the bank.

Perfect for baking and prep

I bought these on recommendation from America's test kitchen. I can't believe I used anchor hocking glass bowls for baking all though my 20s and they were heavy and had all the negatives that come with glass. I only need one small glass bowl to melt butter in the microwave with now when baking. they are awesome prep bowls too.

Great for Meal Prep

I originally wanted to buy a set of five, then realized this set had the perfect sizes. The bowls are very lightweight, which is a little bit of a negative for me. Major pluses are that material is sturdy for such lightweight bowls and underside of rim doesn't catch water during wash. Since the bowls are shallow, they are more suitable for meal prep than for batter mixing. I really enjoy using them.

I should have bought these years ago but always found something else I could use in their place. They are well made, easy to clean and store. They make my cooking go faster and easier. No worried if they get dropped.

Get these! They are a bit thinner than the ones they are replacing, so don't go banging them around if you want em to look pretty, but if you are buying mixing bowls based on needing them to look pretty you should rethink things.

These have the proper shape, set size, and lip for holding onto, The lip is perfect! These are superior to other bowls I've used and yea little things make a difference....

Smooth Handling Bowl Set

Very pleased with this three bowl set. The bowls are not heavy. In fact, they are super light. At first, I wondered if they could handle the banging around in my kitchen. After 2 months, their "lightness" is a positive characteristic. They handle more smoothly than "heavier" stainless bowls. I am not concerned about their sturdiness now.

Secondly, these bowls are slightly shallower and wider that stainless bowls I'm use to. This feature adds to the smooth handling feel of these bowls.

For my kitchen uses, these bowls are perfect.

Just a great set of mixing bowls; not the best nor anywhere close to the worst. They're shallow and light unlike the competition (deep and heavy). I just bought another set because I use them so much!
