Setting up could not be easier as the whole unit is self-contained, so no plumbing is required. Just keep the bottom bowl regularly topped-up to the “maximum” level with cold tap water. The super-quiet pump is powered by a low voltage power supply for safety and comes with a 10 feet length power cable for ease of placement. And with a low power consumption of just 2 Watts, you won’t even notice it on your electricity bill. Maintenance is simple too as the bowls are dishwasher safe and replacement filter cartridges slide easily into position. It is recommend that cartridges are replaced monthly, or sooner if required. The pump should also be disassembled (no tools required) and cleaned every few weeks (or more frequently in hard water areas) to prevent limescale build-up.
