This stuff is great!
To be fair, I've only known the AutoZone/eBay stuff (very inexpensive, and cheap), but this is awesome. The glue lining really helps seal up the wire to the shrink tubing, and this brand of tubing shrinks a large amount. I know it says 3:1 shrink ratio, but I feel like it shrinks more than that before it starts to wither and burn.
Buying it in 4' sections also means that I can snip as much or as little as I need for whatever job, without leaving a useless length of a drop.
Your best bet for the nicest looking application is to focus ...

Worked well, and the shrink worked well even on the ones that I hit with a bit too much heat from a torch when I was in a hurry. Your best bet for the nicest looking application is to focus on making clean consistent cuts. I bought one of Red and one of Black to mark which cables I wanted to use for positive and negative. I had a few premade cables that I even marked in this color pattern by slipping this tube over the factory heat shrink and shrinking this on top. Worked well.

Loved everything about the TEMCo brand Marine Grade Heat Shrink Tube! I recently rewired an entire RV, F250, Ranger and a submersed well pump, all using heavy cabling and all sizes of TEMCo heat shrink tubing. It has a fantastic quality to it, the glue seals perfectly and gives a nice seal around the outer edge. Had a very minor size difference in tubing after ordering a large quantity of all sizes, but TEMCo stepped right up and sent out the proper size. Grade A company, simply the best heat shrink available on Amazon!

The quality of this 'marine' heat shrink is awesome. Lined with moisture proof glue and shrinks to one-third original size. I bought it in three sizes - mostly for insulating low voltage electrical connections. I use it on a screwdriver bit, car connections, sometimes just to join things together.

This heat shrink tube appears to be very durable. I used it to cover abraded areas on a 100 ft extension cord. The cord was about 3/8 inch in diameter and the tubing shrank to make a very tight, smooth repair.

This is how heatshrink should be...3:1 shrink ratio, thick bodied, solid feeling, adhesive lined...

I decided to upgrade my trucks power/ground wires and wanted to seal/wrap the terminals. This wrap worked great on 00 gauge wire and terminals and the marine sealant inside makes a very good seal. Made sure to buy enough to have enough leftover for future projects.
Very high quality double walled heat shrink. Great for boat wiring.

Great for boat wiring. Used it on my truck wiring also. Lots of glue as the inside layer, melts and seals it all.
Very reasonable priced.
