its really cute and that's about it. After a few uses with black tea it is stained and I can't get it the nice bright green color any more. If you loose leaf tea has any small leaves they will escape. So it looks cute but a a tea infuser it does come up lacking.

My son's name is Loch so this was a house warming present for him - as he is also a tea drinker. Normally I don't buy him "Loch Ness" items since his name means "Lake" and has nothing to do with the lake monster but this one I couldn't resist. Very cute and fits in all standard mugs. We live in the U.S./Canada. It was shipped only 4 States but got "lost" (I'm a recent Prime Member). I was offered a refund but I ignored that message and a couple weeks later it arrived in perfect condition. No problem! I recommend! Soft silicone (not sure of actual material-see site) - would be cute on a counter too.

Major design flaws!

I find this product utterly adorable, but it comes with significant design flaws. First of all, there is a small cavity in the top half of the infuser that does not allow it properly sit in the bottom of the cup and completely ruins the aesthetic. Secondly, the bottom half has a lip the secures it to the top half...this lip will collect tea leaves and make it much more difficult compared to a traditional diffuser. Lastly, the holes in the diffuser are way to large and allow crushed leaves to easily escape and collect at the bottom of the cup. I would highly recommend buying a different, more functional infuser.

I bought this as an xmas gift for my girlfriend. She loves this little guy. She uses it almost everyday. The only down side she says is that fine teas get through the holes and end up in the water. Plus it is very easy to clean.
