Kitchen liners cut into circles

This is literally the non-slip material you find for kitchen shelving just cut into circles. Save your money and look for real jar grippers. I don't want my money back or a replacement. I just want to warn potential buyers not to buy this product..

Not suitable as jar gripper

As some other reviewers have also noted, despite the title of this item as "jar gripper", it is totally unsuitable for that purpose. The material is a very low cost, rather fragile mesh. It probably works ok as a non-slip stand for a light, small item, but any attempt to grip and turn a tight jar lid simply results in the material unraveling, tearing and fragmenting. Also note that although the picture shows an assortment of 4 different colors, the actual shipment may be 4 of the same, randomly chosen color; at least this was true in my case. I bought it because I needed one blue one; I received 4 green. This does not actually contradict the web description, but, buyer be aware!

Not worth the money

You know that grippy shelf liner you can buy at your local store for $2-3? This is just a couple of circles cut from a sheet of that material. I thought it was rubber when I was purchasing. My fault - hope this helps you make an informed choice.

This is my second set because I have others that have wandered off to other uses over the years, so needed more. They are incredibly durable and work extremely well. In fact, they work better than those that look more purpose built. I chuckle at those who rant that these are just cut out shelf liners, and maybe they are, but they work so well, and lasted us years doing all kinds of things over and above removing jar lids. I actually bought 2 more sets.. To use to remove camera filters and take apart telescope extensions (they stiction of fine treaded aluminum make it difficult to take apart). These will probably outlive me, they're that good.

Great but wrong colors

I have used similar products before. As my grip gets less strong, I needed one of these in several different rooms. They take up little storage space and are handy for when I need grip assistance. HOWEVER! I saw the picture showing 4 different colors. I liked that because it would help me know which place to return a certain color. BUT my order came and I was sent 4 orange ones. They work fine no matter the color, but I was greatly disappointed that the picture was NOT what was delivered.

I not only use these in the kitchen, but also around the house. My hairdryer has a low profile, sliding switch which is difficult for me since I have arthritis and carpal tunnel in my hands and these gripper pads are just the thing to use when I'm trying to turn it off. I keep these handy grippers all around the house for many things.

Disintegrates during first use

Started falling apart upon first use. Very VERY light duty, if meant for opening closing plastic bottle caps at all. I suspect that this is just some cheap material cut into circles and called a gripper, but I cannot imagine a use light enough to justify this.

I bought some of these years ago and was down to just 1 that was getting worn out... you can't find these in any stores for some reason. Finally, I found these specific ones. I love the flexibility of them because you can use them for anything. I did not get green and cream color as pictured - just all cream which is fine.

These grips are GREAT!! We cannot open water bottles without them. I use to use pliers to get the lid off but don't have to now with these grips!!
