This cable works great and is exactly what I wanted - a short HDMI to replace my Atomos cable, which doesn't fit into the locking mechanism on my cage. The cable has provided a solid connection and I haven't had any issues with it.

Connectors are weak, easily broken

The tension applied because of the tightly coiled cord apples too much force to the connectors (unless the orientation and position of the two connections are exactly lined up)., and the connectors are not up to the task. After three uses, one of them broke, leaving me with NO connection. :-( It's hard to find the micro- to micro cables, so I'm switching to HDMI to micro-HDMI adapters instead, since the HDMI cables are everywhere now.

I didn't want to have a long traditional HDMI cable going from my GH5 to my Andycine A6 monitor. I also wanted a cable that I didn't have to roll up to pack away. This HDMI cable is the perfect length going from my gh5 to the monitor and extremely easy to throw into my Pelican case without me needing to roll it up since its already coiled "at rest" position.

If you traditionally keep your monitor on your hotshoe or with a hotshoe rail, this cable will work great for you. If you have a tendency to be on a shoulder rig with a magic arm swinging to various positions on a shoot, then you will want to look for something not coiled.

Hi quality product and well made. The coiled cord is really strong, I stretched mine for a day or two to lessen the pull ... the ends are very well made and nothing cheap about it. I use it to connect a Sony A7iii with a SoundDesigns MixPre 3 on the camera.

I hope the manufacturer will make one with a right angle connector as that would be even more ideal for my use and I can't be the only one out there needing it...

Compact HDMI

Functions just as advertised. Great picture with no delay. Absolutely essential for traveling. It is more compact than many competing hdmi cords and can fit easily in a small pouch or backpack pocket. My one complaint is that the coils are pretty tight and strain the computer initially until they are broken in.

I tried to connect my EOS R to the Atomos Ninja V.

This cable is faulty and the Ninja kept asking for an "input" - Various other HDMI to mini HDMI cables I had ordered simultaneously from Amazon did work without problem. Unfortunately they were not coiled and even their shortest length (3 feet) was a hassle "to pack" neatly. I have ordered another coiled cable from another Brand.

For $ 11+ I am pretty disappointed and I shall not order anymore from UCEC.

This cable is great from three standpoints. (1) it leaves more usable space on my desk than a "straight" cable; (2) the left-angle connector points the cable to the back of the desk given the Mini-HDMI connector on the left side of my laptop has the narrower edge of the 'D' connector toward the bottom of the laptop; (3) MOST WONDERFUL, the left angle connector is small and leaves enough space to plug a USB cable into the USB port of the laptop that is crowded against the Mini-HDMI port.
