Tech Vendor's Customer Service and Committment to Customer Satisfaction is as Exceptional as their iby Stan (5 out of 5 stars)
February 23, 2016
If you need a leather case you really should read this before making your decision.
This is the second iPad Pro Case that I have purchased from Tech Vendor. The first one did not meet my high expectations for a quality leather case for my iPad Pro. The leather was not the quality that I wanted, and the magnets on the first case I received were not strong enough to make the sleep/wake function on the case work, but like most people I did not want to go through the hassle of returning or exchanging it, and was resigned to just use it until I found a better one. In light of these shortcomings in the first case I couldn't in good conscience give the case 4 or 5 stars, and since I didn't give Tech Vendor the opportunity to replace the case I left no review.
Now here is where my experience with Tech Vendor gets into the category of exceptional business practices. Tech Vendor contacted me by email to make sure I was totally satisfied with the first case, because I did not write a review or even give them feedback in terms of stars. I dealt with a really nice woman named Annie who was determined to makes things right. I told her about the first case, and she said I must have received a rare defective one, and that I should give them one more opportunity to try their Pro Case and make things right, because they really stand behind their products. She asked me to order one more through Amazon, and Tech Vendor would refund the cost for my getting one below our mutual expectations.
I'm so glad I did! The leather on this new one is very good for the price. The magnets on this new case are strong and keep the cover lid closed, and activates the sleep/wake function on the iPad. The iPad fits snugly into the case with a secure Velcro strap around the center. All buttons, speakers, camera lenses, and jack are easily accessible, and there are 4 strips inside the case for viewing at 4 different angles. The case is sturdy enough to use the stand without holding it on my bed. There is even a document holder on the outside of the case for paper, etc. In the past for my older iPads I bought my leather cases at Brookstone's, but they discontinued making iPad covers. This Pro Case is a better made case for half the cost.
BUT, the real review here is for the level of customer service and striving for customer satisfaction. How many times have you had an online seller follow up with you, without a complaint from you, to make sure you are completely satisfied? As for me never!
I'm happy with not only this second case, but the way I was treated when there was a problem that I didn't initiate a complaint or contact. This is a seller that turned a negative initial experience to the most positive one I've ever had with an online seller. For this reason, and the fact that Tech Vendor does make a really great case, I tell anyone who reads my review that I give them my highest recommendation. Tech Vendor really cares about their customer's satisfaction, and they prove it by standing by their product. All Amazon sellers should strive to conduct business in this manner.

Very happy and in fact this exceeded my expectations in every way. Being the impatient person I am, as soon as I got the Ipad pro, instead of waiting until this case came in I bought a different case at Best Buy for $80. I used it for 3 days before this case came in. It wasn't until I used this new case that I realized how inferior the Best Buy product was, and how super this product is.
It looks professional high quality, feels like a quality product, the various angle adjustments all work well and the magnetic closure functions and acts as an on off switch. Even if this cost 3 times more than what it does, I'd buy another one
Shop no more - this is the one

I originally purchased the Logitech Create Keyboard and Case for my 12.9" iPad Pro. I'll admit it was a really good keyboard and case, although, one downfall that caused me to return it for this folio case. I like folding the flap behind my iPad Pro and laying it flat against my knees or table. I use the iPad Pro for the creative and use the Apple Pencil quite a bit. This case is sturdy, looks good, gives you multiple viewing angles and I can lay it flat on my lap. To solve the keyboard issue I purchased the Logitech Bluetooth Easy-Switch K811 Keyboard for Mac, iPad, iPhone - Silver/Black and can say it's the best keyboard I've used besides the LogiTech Create and Apple Magic Keyboard. This case and the keyboard give me the function of the LogiTech Create or Zagg Slimbook but I feel is more versatile. I almost bought the Zagg Slimbook case and keyboard but heard to many complaints the plastic hinge has the potential to snap over time. Also, you have to purchase an actual cover for the screen if you want to separate the Zagg Slimbook and keep it that way when you don't want to use the keyboard. Anyone that complains about the edge of this case blocking the ability to swipe up, down or left must be extremely picky because I'm able to do all of this with no problem. Also there have been complaints about the iPad being loose in the case. Depends on how tight you secure it to the Velcro beneath the (folio) part. The screen has not slipped when in landscape mode at all four angles. Sturdy to touch, swiping and stylus. Overall for the price, awesome case and looks good.
Nearly perfect folio case for the iPad Pro 12.9in

PREFACE: I purchased this on Sep. 24, 2016 on Amazon for $18.99 for my 12.9in iPad Pro.
PROS:
- Premium-feeling composition leather with solid stitching
- Cut-outs and holes for everything you'd expect
- Elastic pen-holder that came with a ball-point pen/stylus combo
- Adequate corner protection
- Fits snugly on the device
- Snug-fitting document sleeve on cover
- Magnetic smart-cover
CONS:
- None
I've only had this case for a day but this will probably be the last case I will need for my new iPad Pro 12.9in. The case came with a foam insert in a cellophane wrapper and included a usable ball-point pen/stylus combo. However having already purchased the Apple Pencil, I will be foregoing the review of the pen - it's just a pen with a rubber stylus at the other end.
The case feels really solidly constructed, and the composition leather feels like it will hold up pretty well to daily usage. Unlike some that end up pilling and disintegrating, this material feels like one solid piece through the core. The stitching was also surprisingly solid and I did not see any fraying.
Some folio-style cases leave too much wiggle-room when you insert the device, however this case does not. Unfortunately I bought a silicone skin to use in conjunction with the case, to fill in any gaps, but the case is so snug that there is no room for a mm or two worth of silicone in between. One of the things I love is how the device is secured inside the case - there is a velcro flap on the inner fold of the folio that wraps under the device and attaches right under it. So you can theoretically secure the device as tightly as you'd like.
All corners of the device are protected either directly by material covering it, or by material overshooting it. And this leather is pretty thick and rigid. Not sure there's a leather case out there that can do much better than this one.
It has a tiered type of system for lodging itself against to act as a stand, and the leather to leather tiers hold up very well. I can't imagine the stand suddenly coming undone and risking damage to the device. The pen holder is elastic and holds my Apple Pencil snug enough to keep it from sliding out on accident, but not too snug that you risk the elastic eventually ripping off. Only time will tell though. There are cutouts for each speaker, each input, all buttons, and for the cameras. There's a large enough hole on the rear camera that the leather doesn't obstruct the view.
The magnetic smart cover has worked flawlessly. It's magnetic enough to stay attached in mild turbulence, but not so strong as to damage anything electronic. It also has worked flawlessly in turning my iPad screen on and off automatically.
CONCLUSION: Great protection, great functionality, premium look and feel, affordable price. No complaints. Good buy.
Perfect Combination of Price And Quality

I've been using this with my iPad Pro for a couple weeks now. The size of the Pro is great for viewing, but makes it a high risk for dropping. A case is a must. The leather and design are quite good. There's no reason to spend any more for a nice leather case. The combination of quality and price sold me, and I have no regrets.

This is the best case for the iPad Pro (12.9 inch screen)!!! Very well made , protects the exposed corners of the tablet... Just enough cushion to protect the tablet without having adding bulk.. I own 4 iPads and have bought many cases... This one is my favorite.. Amazing! Totally happy with my purchase and will be buying a red one !!

The pen is an ok starter. The pen holder is secure enough but I am cautious with the $100 apple pencil in it. I fear loosing its magnetic cap more than loosing the pen. You have to push it with enough force that I don't think it would fall out accidentally.
I have no problems with the Velcro tab holding or the iPad falling out.
The main con is that the side bezels are not deep enough for the easy use of the split screen, etc. I decided to do a little trimming of my own with a curved edge trimmers and it works much better.
The top and bottom are open enough so it's easy to use of the pull down or pull up function and that is how I mainly use it. I mainly use the split screen when positioned sideways so the pull from right is easy to do.
Summary:They need to make the side bezels deeper but at $20 its a nice looking decent iPad holder, it works for me, and thus the 4 stars.
Great Case for the iPad Pro

Just got this case, and I'm mostly pleased. It does add a bit of weight to the overall situation, so that has to be a trade off you are willing to make.
The leather is nice. I got the Pro as a work machine, and this makes it feel more official. It has the look and feel of a nice paper notebook folio, which is what I was going for. It looks nice open and closed. It feels overall very sturdy, which I am sure contributes to the overall heft. Again, that's a trade off. Can't wait to take handwritten notes on this with the Pencil.
As can see in the attached photo, in the first stop, it has just enough room to hold a Sharkk Bluetooth keyboard. This is effectively a laptop at that point. :) Together, they are WAY cheaper than the Apple Keyboard. Not as convenient, but I don't know how much I'll be typing on this. Will see.
The lowest stop feels most comfortable for viewing in your lap.
It feels a bit odd if you're thinking of it as a notebook (I mean the paper kind) folio, where you'd just flip and wrap the cover around. This is because of the dual function flap to hold it for viewing. I imagine it will take some getting used to and maybe breaking it in.
The pen/stylus holder is another feature that made me buy this one. Given that the Apple Pencil has no way to attach, by default. It is elastic and thin enough that I expect it will hold the Pencil just fine. (I am still waiting on my Pencil like everyone else.) In the meantime, the included pen and rubber nub stylus is a nice stand in.
The auto off/on magnet seems to work as expected.
It has two openings at the top of the iPad. I am not sure why. There don't appear to be any sensors there, but maybe they know something I don't. Other than that, all of the speakers, ports, buttons, cameras, etc. are easily accessible.
For this style case, this product seems to have nailed it, in looks, in utility, and in price.
Quality Leather Case for Ipad, with some minor flaws

I love this case. I use my iPad pretty much every day to take notes in lectures and this case works beautifully.
This is a nice quality leather case if that is what you are looking for. It has a pocket on the outside to hold papers. It has a pencil slot on the side. It has three ridges to prop up the iPad on, and it has magnets to keep it closed.
The case is plenty protective. I've been dragging my iPad around in my backpack for nearly a year, and haven't had so much as a scratch on it. I haven't dropped the iPad, so I can't say how drop protective it is, but it certainly protects it from a lot of jostling. The leather covers the corners to protect the corners from being damaged, which I appreciate.
I usually bring a bluetooth keyboard to prop on the ridges on the bottom of the case to type with if I'm not handwriting notes. The ridges are in good positions and will prop up the iPad so you can see it and type. The magnets hold the case shut, and cause the sleep function to work, as they should. I don't usually use the pocket since it's a little small to put full-size sheets of paper in, but what I have put in there doesn't fall out.
The front and back cameras both work in the case with no obstruction, which is good as I often take pictures of the board during lectures.
The case is easy to use, it took me about 10 seconds to put the iPad in, and the iPad is secure inside it without coming out.
My two minor problems with it are that it is heavy, and an apple pencil is not very secure in the pencil holder. The case weighs about 1.2 lbs, so it is almost 3 lbs with the iPad, which may be heavier than some people want to carry around. The pencil holder is elastic, so an apple pencil can get caught on things (the side of a backpack) when you're putting it away, and then just twists or comes out if it's caught, instead of staying rigid against the side of the case. I haven't lost the pencil yet though since it's pretty obvious when it gets caught on something. The pencil has come off of the side of the case and fallen into my backpack once or twice though.
Overall, this is a quality case and I would highly recommend it.
