Tight bolt, nuts and no loose or loosening connections. I hate when you buy something like this and within a week the connections are all loose. still holding strong. Clip portion is also durable and will hold the bills and ID tight. Quality, sharp blade that is retaining its edge. Blade stays well hidden in pocket and doesn't accidentally poke out and put a hole in your pocket or leg! Tip is deep in blade well. I used it camping to minimize what is in my pockets. did a great job. I would cut it half a star as it is a little thick but if you want the tightness, blade and quality tha little thick is required.

Not really a money clip

In my opinion:

If you were looking for something light weight...you can probably do better than this.

Compared to my other "real" money clips, this is bulky and sticks way out on one end.

So, its really not a money clip...its just a cool looking rectangular framed folding knife that has a wide clip.

Speaking of the clip, it also too stiff, so if you have more than a few dollars it takes more than just a simply push of the folded bills to get them under the clip.

In conclusion, following the marketing advertising of this knife, you can take just about any folding knife that has a pocket clip and call it a money clip.

Good quality and value. Purchased it for my husband and he uses it daily for the money clip feature . Because the blade is so sharp I just have to be a little more careful now whenever I take his cash!

Blade is sharp. Construction is overall lacking. The "money clip" does not serve well as its far too tight to get more than 2 bills folded under it and even when I stuffed them under the clip I ripped the bills. If you're considering carrying a few bills, a card and dl you can forget about it.

Overall, if you're just looking for a slim profile knife this will do you just fine. If you're actually looking for a money clip keep looking.

a great knife

First of all I should say that I had no intention of using this a money clip. So I can't rate it in that capacity. I just wanted a small, slim knife I could comfortably keep in my pocket. That's exactly what this is. It is slim, light, superbly designed well-built, very sturdy and extremely sharp. I'm happy with it. When I lose it (which is inevitable) I'll definitely buy another.

Feather weight and low profile.

This little guy is part of my pocket cargo reduction program. With keys, a wallet, a phone and a knife as my daily carry, my pockets we're overloaded. I got one of those sticky wallets for the back of my phone, and put the bills on this knife/money clip combination. Problem solved. The knife is VERY light, hey seems up to the tasks I use it for (typically breaking down boxes from Amazon shipments 😂). It is stainless steel and looks nice (not too "tactical"). It is also feather weight and not at all bulky. Anyone who wants to lighten up the load, in their pockets, and likes to have a utility knife on hand, should consider this product.

Like the "Slim jim" series, the light weight of this is the most surprising out of the box.

The blade has a good edge, and is not an assisted open; but who would want that for a utility blade that's always going to be deep in a pocket?

So far the clip seems to have the "just right" level of tension to it. Not so tight that it's hard to get folded bills in (like the Gerber clip can be), but tight enough that it doesn't slip off accidentally. I do keep a plastic card (metro TAP card) with the bills to keep a "guide" under the clip, which is something I got into the habit of with the Gerber clip, but I don't think I actually need to with this clip.

This also doesn't bulk-up the fold the way the Schrade clip does, and has a more useful edge shape than the Gerber.

Fasten blade to handle better

Knife is supper sharp you can actually shave with this pocket knife I'm real happy with blade sharpness design and quality of the pocket knife, the blade wiggles a bit where connected to handle ,blade should be fastened to handle tighter as not to have the blade wiggle at all , other then that this is a really cool pocket knife ,

And money clip or temp card holder, I read all the reviews on this item and I could not believe the reason people gave it a bad review, one bad review was that this guy could not fit more then one bill note in the clip and that the knife would not function with a credit card in clip ,people are so dumb ,the knife is designed to just keep one emergency bill note or one credit card not both in the clip at the same time and if a credit card is in the clip of course you would have to remove the credit card to use the knife, this guys complaint was he also could not use the knife with credit card in the clip so now he just does not use the knife at all and that it just sits on his dresser as a show piece and he complains he just wasted money on it , the pocket knife does what it was designed to do and it does it with cool style, I am very happy with quality and design of this pocket knife, I'm going to buy another one for my 17 year old son for his birthday this coming July, and it is super cool that SOG owners are Vietnam vets ,my father in law was a Vietnam vet. He was in the 183rd DUSTOFF UNIT. , thanks for a cool pocket knife!

Came freaky fast, thanks Prime! My boyfriend loves it. Said it has a "decent" edge out of the package. He's a nerd with a knife collection and loved the idea of having a knife money clip. He was looking at this same knife on another website that was priced at $75, I said no. Looked in Amazon, found this one of the same brand and packaging and was like, okay. He hasn't "tested" it yet but I'm sure he'll accidentally knick himself soon enough and maybe I'll update this review with how "honed" the blade is. So, not sure how "heavy duty" the knife truly is (he loves coldsteel? products) but it made him happy to have a "fancy money clip that doubles as a secret weapon"
