Bed light DIM!!!!

Orderd for my 03 chevy Silverado, it fits good and seems to have sealed tight to the body with the supplied gasket. However, as other review have stated, the bed illumination lights are so dim they should have just left them off and made the brake light bigger. They are so dim, I didn't even realize they had turned on when i checks them after install. Also, is had what appears to be a resistor basics hanging off the back that was very poorly soldered onto the circuit card, one of the wires had the insulation stripped over 2" leaving bare wire.

1 star is generous. This product doesnt fit a 05 Silverado. The light assembly itself has quarter inch gaps on both sides,guaranteed to leak and fog up. Besides gaps on the product itself when trying to install it your left with more gaps between truck and light. I should have went by the bad reviews and never purchased it.

Purchased this for my husband for a gift and found out that Not all the lights worked after installation. Wanted to replace it for one that worked and it wasn't an option. Requested a refund and the company denied it since it was "past the return deadline" by 1 day. Very disappointing. If the product doesn't work, the company should honor a replacement. Also, there's gaps where it was installed. It's not the same size as original. Just fyi. ... If you buy it... Check the item asap! Don't hold it for a gift idea.

Should send it back. The outer lens is not sealed at all. It is not even close of being installed correctly and has nearly a 1/4 gap between the lens and the backing. The only place that it is attached is at the bottom. Very poor quality. The only reason I have not sent this back is I was in a bind and had to use this to complete the truck. Unfortunately, like every other cheap aftermarket piece, I had to rework/modify the part and seal it up with silicone.

This product is aweful. I bought it then sent it back thinking it was a manufacturing error that there was a 1/4 by the seal. But no I ordered another and same problem. Also the resister must be faulty because with both of them that I have bought, both make it so your cruise doesn't work. Put in factory brake and the cruise works. Aweful product don't buy!

They look nice and the cargo light is very bright. However, there are no seals and the fitment is not the greatest, so a lot of moisture gets in the assembly. The brake light doesn't work.

Update: Where it doesn't seal lets rain in and my headliner is stained and coming off from water damage.

Solder all over the plastic, isn't even sealed backup lights are useless doesn't fit worth of crap the only good thing is it looks nice. Can't even say the backup lights are LED... Shame

Nice looking light but the fit sucks. Had a huge gap at the top and the sides didn't fit flush. Had to lay the strip caulk to it. I started to return it, but all the aftermarket lights I looked at had the same bad reviews, even the expensive ones.

Item is not same as pictured. In the Amazon picture you can see the holes for the lights to be placed inside. I have expensive bright LEDs I wanted to insert on the left and right but it already comes with led strips inside. Item will most likely be returned

not a perfect fit though. i had to put some silicon around since there was a gap for the water to go trough
