Scary Sticky indeed!

I've been using this for ankle strapping after a pretty bad injury left me needing some extra support. This is the best tape to use! It offers a lot of support and stays on as long as you need it. I've been able to go swimming and shower with this tape on for days! It doesn't peel or come loose unless you do it yourself. I can't comment on the weightlifting benefit here, but if you are looking for a strong, sturdy, long-lasting tape, this is it.

Great tape - I use this for taping my hands to avoid blisters during Crossfit bar work. I wouldn't say scary sticky, because they removed easily from my hands without leaving residue. The tape held up nicely for the abuse I unleashed. Nice stuff. I'd buy again.

I used to tape my thumbs with kinesio tape, and the experience was usually good - KT is durable and flexible, so it feels great on the hand, doesn't rub through and provides excellent protection. However, I always thought it was wasteful (KT is expensive) and not very convenient (because it has a layer that needs to be peeled off, and you need scissors).

After reading the rave reviews for this Goat tape, I was excited to buy one! But after using it a few times for lifting, I can say that I'm very disappointed - the only good thing about it is that it can be torn off the roll without scissors. Other than that, it's pretty terrible - it feels like paper, doesn't stretch at all and is hard to wrap around thumbs without it wrinkling. If I add just one layer, I don't feel secure, if I add more, it won't let me bend my thumb and is uncomfortable. And worst of all, it leaves glue on the skin when I take it off - and that glue is really hard to wash off. A roll of kinesio tape costs just a few bucks more than Goat tape - so I guess I'll stick with that one for my activities.

Update: ended up getting Jerkfit Nubs for my thumbs and can't be happier.

I mean you get what you pay for. There are other way more expensive brands that will stick in your fingers forever, with these ones I have to ensure I wrap them real tight or else they will get loose in mid workout. I use them for CrossFit so for me it's important to have them on, and also since I use so much I can't spare on very expensive brands. So I think they do there job... and OK for the price

Great sticky tape! I wrapped my dumbell handles with this as i cant find my gloves and i have no complaints!!! I recommend!!! One roll would last me a lifetime! I have used the weights every other day since purchasing and the tape is the same as it were from day 1!!

Workout Magic

I'm relatively new to CrossFit. This week we had a WOD to do rope climbs, and man did my hands get ripped up. The box owner recommend tape for subsequent WODs. I was very happy to do pull ups using your tape as it kept my thumbs and fingers from bleeding as well as helped my grip on the bar. I chose your tape for the name, which lead to my expectation it would work nicely, and it did. I haven't tried other tapes, which do appear to be less expensive, so if price is a problem consider others.

Pretty Sticky

I use this tape on my hands to cover tears/ blisters when weightlifting. My hands sweat a LOT, and normal athletic tape just slipped off when I used it. This Scary Sticky tape lives up to its name - if your hands are clean and dry when you put it on, there's very little slippage. It has lifted off of my palm after a long session, but definitely still protects. It's very easy to tear (no scissors required!) and comes off pretty cleanly with only a tiny bit of left-over sticky residue around the tape edges. I'll definitely be buying another roll when mine runs out!

Perfect as a new CrossFitter

I just started CrossFit and was looking for something like this to use to tape my thumbs or other areas where blisters had previously developed when doing strength training or when hanging on the bar. This is perfect! It stays in place and doesn't leave much residue on my skin. When I peel it and re-stick, it actually sticks. I had previously tried some medical tape (prior to ordering this) and it almost peeled of instantly. This endures through my entire workout with minimal movement/rolling and was just what I needed to help protect my hands while I work up my resistance.

Honestly wish I could get my money back from this. I didn't realize there was no give at all to this tape before buying it. I mainly use tapes to help if I get a blister or cut on a finger or part of my hand; but if I use goat tape I may as well just put a tournaquet on and sinch it down because your bloodflow is restricted along with your movement. All they did was put the label "goat tape" on some duct tape and sell it to crossfitters. I don't understand all the hype about this, but it by no means lives up to it. I've only ever taken the time to review amazon purchases maybe 3 or 4 times so it must tell you that I'm REALLY dissatisfied.

Stay far away from this

Worst tape ever. May as well have use duck-tape. It leaves a sticky black residue, does not stay in place and is very inflexible. It got all bunched up and started strangling my thumb.
