I can't speak to durability, as I just applied this the other day. But, it was the easiest application I've had in any tempered glass product! The "hinge" stickers are really smart and easy to use. It allows you to position the sheet exactly where you need it BEFORE it's game time and you risk actually sticking it in the wrong spot.

I still get some smudging, and a slight bit of glare. I actually didn't realize this was a "smudge-proof" and "anti-glare" product until it asked me to rate those features when writing my review. So, I knocked a star off, but didn't buy it for those qualities anyway. So, I don't really care.

I'll come back to update this if there is any issue with the screen protector after some use. So far, I'm really pleased!

After trying many brands of tempered glass screen protectors for my iPhone X, I finally found JeTech and was pleasantly surprised at it being the best while being very inexpensive. I keep getting them for each device and every time I'm very happy with them.

The iPad 9.7" 2018 protector is no exception. I Installed these on two iPads and I'm absolutely satisfied with the result. The edges are rounded so they aren't sharp, they install easily without bubbles, the edges go down and stay flat, and the glass texture is smoth to the touch which makes finger drags and swipes glide. I even bought an extra in case I messed up the install of one, but I didn't need it.

I recommend you get a can of compressed air spray. Clean the screen very well. Blow it with the air canister, then apply. This should help install it without dust on the screen.

It has also been compatible with a few cases that I have used.

It wasn't long before I knew I would drop my brand new iPad and am grateful I had JETech's screen protector. I've used them for my iPhones before and figured I get the same quality service on my iPad.

Long story short, I dropped my iPad from about 3-4 ft onto bathroom tiles. It didn't fall FACE first but the screen protector did crack on the top right corner as well as bottom left corner. Luckily, the iPad screen itself was brand spanking new as before.
**Make sure you register your screen protector for lifetime warranty**! I contacted JETech about what happened and sent them photos of the damaged screen protector after I dropped it. They sent me a replacement that can within the week, no questions asked.

TL:DR Overall, the screen protector did its job and protected my screen from actual damage. Moreover, customer service responded quickly, they do follow their lifetime warranty and issued me a new screen protector within a week. Amazing 5/5!

I really like that it is a Tempered Glass screen Protector it was Easy to apply onto my iPad especially with the guides and curved corners and the direction with pictures to make sure I understood exactly how to apply it.. I gave you 5 stars because it is worth every penny. The touch screen works perfectly it is a good investment for those that can put it on right. I'm no sure if I did after using in for a few months,. the home screen on my ipad has a place where I'm to place my finger tip for some of the apps and apple store to know that its me for identifications of me. and I placed the screen protector slightly on the edge if the button and it would not let me use it because your whole finger tip must fit in the location described for it. So make sure that you properly place to screen protector in the right place before you secure to the ipad or other devices that you are using. Only because it secures so tight that if you need to adjust it it will cause your screen on your device to crack Unforgettably I found out the hard way. But this a very good produced an once I get my screen replaced I will buy this again.

Works well with iPad 6 (2018) and Apple Pencil

So far so good. It doesn't help with smudging for me but, since I have sweaty/oily hands, that's was to be expected. I have a case that fits around the edges of the iPad and this protector fits snuggly. My case also has a magnetic cover for waking/sleeping and this glass protector does not interfere with that. I can also use my Apple Pencil with no problems at all. It does make the surface more smooth and slippery when using the pencil so it does take some time to adjust.

If you have a general idea how to install screen protectors and have common sense, don't be worried about bubbles as some reviewers have said. Bubbles are usually due to user error, not the actual product itself (especially if the protector is glass; film protectors are a different story though haha). I've never had any problems with putting on glass screen protectors as long as I thoroughly cleaned the iPad/phone/device screen before placing it and have the glass protector adhere correctly. This means sticking the protector on one edge first and then carefully sticking/smoothing it out towards the other edge or having the protector adhere from the middle first and then sticking/smoothing it out towards the edges. Oftentimes, bubbles are caused if the screen isn't clean enough or if the protector starts sticking from the outside in, causing pockets of air to be trapped towards the middle. Point is, if you're having bubbles with this product, it's unlikely the product's fault and you'll probably run into the same problems no matter which brand you use. Okay, end rant.

So overall, it's pretty good and I'd recommend it.

Very good glass screen protector

There's different options as to what type of material you can use to protect your devices and they each have their pros and cons. For my phone, I do not like glass because of how easy it can crack. I prefer the premium "military grade" film from companies like ArmorSuit or Zagg, although the former is overpriced. However, for an iPad or other tablet, I highly recommend glass for the following reasons: it smudges far less than plastic, over time the plastic films display a yellow tint and over time this tint will become worse, and it doesn't feel as nice on your fingers when compares to glass. The only pro of having plastic over glass is it will provide more protection. Since my iPad is in a case which has a cover, and since iPads drop far less frequently than phones, glass is, in my opinion, the best choice for tablets.

Installation is easy. I actually misaligned it the first time and I was able to take it off and put it back on right after with no issues. It comes with dust removal stickers as well as a cloth to get rid of any smudges on the glass. A protip is to do the install in your bathroom after running hot water to get steam in the air--this will trap any dust particles in the air rather than on your tablet or the screen protector. Unless your ipad hits direct on the glass and cracks it, you'll likely never need to replace this screen either. My iPad originally did not have a screen protector. It also had a very thin case, and I dropped it and shattered the screen. It was $100 to repair. Spend the $10 on this case as that's a much cheaper repair in the unlikely instance where the screen cracks.

Great option for a broken iPad screen

My husband dropped his iPad on Saturday and cracked the screen. He replaced it with a new one on Saturday afternoon but while he was looking on Amazon for a better iPad case he noticed that you could buy a single piece of glass to cover your iPad screen. He ordered it and applied it to the shattered screen and it works perfectly. The glass shards are covered by the new glass so it's safe to use it without cutting your finger. We thought that there might be a delayed response when pressing on the screen but it's just as responsive as it was before. Had we known we might not of purchased a new iPad because the broken one works really well. My husband does recommend that you watch the video before installing it because the written directions are not clear.

Provides Peace of Mind

I just installed this protective screen on my ipad. It looks beautifu, I can barely tell there's a screen protector on it, and I am able to swipe and with no problem. Reading other reviews I was concerned about the ease of installation. I sat in the sunshine so I could see the reflection off the screen easily. I used the orange cloth to clean the screen - worked beautifully. Still a bit of dust on the screen. I used the blue tape square, but it left sticky marks on the screen, so cleaned again, one direction only with the orange cloth. That did it. It was fairly simple to place the screen protector down on the screen. The sticky back positioners they included were pretty worthless. They both tore off the paper without the sticky tab being revealed. I was able to get one by picking at it. I just peeled off half of the cover on the back of the screen, positioned the screen protector over my screen, then pulled the rest of the backing off. I did have several large air bubbles trapped underneath. Those were pretty easily removed by pressing down on the installed screen and pushing out to the sides with a credit card. I don't know yet about durability or how much protection it will offer, but I feel better having something covering my screen. Hopefully the protector screen will come off okay down the line if I decide to remove it.

Wonderful product with easy installation

What a great product! I have always used screen protectors for my electronic devices, the they were always the plastic films in the past. This was my first time using tempered glass. It was so much easier to use and the finished result is perfect. This kits comes with everything you need to make sure the glass is clean and dust free. The instructions are clear and the results are perfect. If fact, only you put the screen protector on the glass it just seals itself. I had two tiny bubbles that easily pushed out the side, unlike the plastic films. With the screen protector in place the screen seems even more responsive to touch and it gives me a good feeling to know the screen is protected. Electronics are just too expensive to risk scratches and damage to the screen. I highly recommend this to anyone. Even if you have not applied a tempered glass screen protector before, don't hesitate.

Doesn't seal properly to the screen

I have installed a lot of screen protectors in my day and never had one do this. I made sure everything was dust free and cleaned the screen with alcohol and their screen cloth. The iPad screen was clean with no streaks or dust on it. Installed it and it didn't seal properly. Tried pulling it off, checking the screen and reinstalled it unfortunately with the same results. Not happy....
