Amazing oil, this has been so helpful for treating my pain. Works really well for inflammation for someone who is unable to take anything internally for pain and inflammation. Would recommend for topical use. Have not tried ingesting yet, but my past experiences has been positive for ginger. Thank you for offering this product.

Fake oil with sickening smell

I purchased a couple Healing Solutions oils when I was starting out, this being one of them. I could not stand the smell and had to throw away. It turned out to be a good thing because since I have found that they have repeatedly failed third party testing. Smell is subjective and many that "smell good" can also be fake, but this doesn't even have that going for it. There are reputable, cheaper companies out there but this is not one of them.

I bought this specifically to mix with lavender and peppermint for stomach aches for my 2 yr old son. Will be was already feeling better by the time it arrived, but I ended up needing it for myself the following week and the combination worked amazingly.

When using oils on myself I'll apply them directly to my skin, but for any kiddos, be sure to mix with a carrier oil.

11/21/18- I'm impressed by Healing Solutions even more. I emailed their customer service inquiring if the smell I described was normal for ginger EO, or if mine was bad. They apologized and refunded my money! I still don't know if I got a bad batch or not because it's impossible to describe in writing, but I'll wait a month or so and cross my fingers and reorder.

I have been very pleased with the majority of the essential oils I've purchased from Healing Solutions, and I have purchased more than 30. But I think this ginger has something wrong with it. Out of the bottle, it has an odor like rotting vegetation. I can't describe it better, but it's nauseating. I know what ginger should smell like, and and it's supposed to calm the stomach, not make you want to gag! Eventually a mild, typical ginger aroma surfaces from the stink, but I can't get past the initial bad smell enough to want to use it. Of course, it's not returnable so I'll have to chalk it up to old stock or a bad batch. As I said, this is the only clunker so far out of a large number of Healing Solutions purchases.

Smells terrible!

I don't know if the oil is very pure and strong and not smelling how I expected?

I used it to make sugar scrub and had to add something to brighten the smell and I still wasn't crazy about the smell.

I had the same experience with another oil which is the same brand. It smelled very strong and not pleasant. I didn't review it and still use it but I blend it with something else and use it for a coat conditioner for my horse.

Helps with my motion sickness. I put a few drops on a tissue and put in a plastic bag when traveling. It fits nicely in a purse or pocket and I can the breath in the aroma when ever I feel slightly nauseous. Love their products!

Great for aching feet!

I purchased this to rub into my aching feet and legs. The smell is very strong like ginger. However, it is well worth the strong smell! I use this for 3 days and all pain is gone! I use once every 2 weeks for like a Maintance, to keep the pain away. I have purchased 6 bottles so for and will continue to purchase this! Thx!

Aroma is spot-on, smells like it should. I use ginger for my intermittent lower back aches ,because ginger is

excellent for things like this. Ginger tea is also good for digestive issues.

This smells awful. I've tried it a few times in my diffuser and blending with other oils and it's bad. The smell makes me nauseous and gives me a headache. I wish I had returned it before the return window closed.

I don't know what is in this bottle that I received for Ginger EO, but it is definitely not ginger! The smell gave me an instant headache! I compared it to another bottle that is almost gone and whew what a difference! I am very disappointed since it had so many good reviews, - maybe a bad batch, but I'm not taking a chance. It is going back and will not order it again from this company!
