Product Description

A Better Night's Sleep Guaranteed

Why is it so hard to find the perfect body pillow?

  • Down pillows lack the support needed for many sleepers, which often leads to pain due to misalignment.
  • Other memory foam body pillows lack airflow and adjustability, which results in heat buildup and an uncomfortable sleep. If the pillow is too thick or too thin, you're out of luck.
  • Our body pillow provides total support to your neck, back, knees, hips, and knees, which allows your body to be properly aligned. Proper body alignment can help reduce pressure on your joints, ease pain, and support good posture.

The Cross-cut Memory Foam Infused with Gel and Microfiber Body Pillow by Coop Home Goods:

  • Provides the plushness, breathability, and shapeability of down
  • Provides the support of memory foam
  • Shredded Memory Foam Technology

Our CertiPUR-US certified foam allows you to thin out or fluff up your body pillow to find your perfect level of support.

    Keeps You Cool and Comfy

  • Our ultra-soft, proprietary Lulltra™ cover, made from polyester & viscose rayon derived from bamboo, promotes increased airflow to prevent heat buildup.
  • The gel-infused, cross-cut memory foam allows far more air circulation compared to standard memory foam and keeps the pillow cool.
  • Perfect for Pregnant Women and New Mothers

Our body pillow doubles as the perfect maternity pillow for use throughout your pregnancy or even while nursing.

    Petite AND Pregnancy Approved!!
by Sarah W. (5 out of 5 stars)
    February 15, 2019

Perfect fill and weight! I already have a Coop travel pillow and love its shredded foam! It's more like magic fluff than what you may have seen in other shredded foam pillows, and you can easily remove it if you'd like less fill. I wouldn't consider this overstuffed at all though.

This pillow provides perfect between the knee support...very relaxing. I'm 5'2 and this runs from my collarbone to my feet, with my legs almost fully extended. It's everywhere I need it! It's heavy enough to stay in place but light enough you can wiggle it over yourself to the other side. When I get out of bed, it easily folds up to let me out without a struggle. This is not a Tempurpedic brick that you just hate to move! That said, I switch sides about twice a night. I don't mind the wiggle over to the other side. You may find you switch less just because this pillow is so relaxing- but if you're really a dolphin in bed, you might not like the heft of the pillow. It's still memory foam, though lighter than the non-shredded kind.

I had been sleeping with a standard size memory foam pillow between my knees...but at that size it doesn't stay put and of course doesn't provide any upper body support. I love resting my arm on this both high and lower- again, it's everywhere I need it!

You will need to air it out before use. Normal for memory foam. I wasn't in a hurry and left it under a sunny window for a couple of weeks. Prefer that to the dryer option. It doesn't smell like anything now.

    And about the pregnancy aspect-

I looked at those two sided cocoon pillows, but there were 2 big problems for me. I share a queen bed, and I just couldn't force my partner to try to sleep on the sliver of remaining bed. Also, I have a history of neck and back pain from not having the right pillow (serious pinched nerve stuff) and I knew that whatever shape and fill that thing was, it wasn't going to work for me! Took me forever to discover that the Coop travel pillow, with some fluff removed and a nice big crease down the middle, was my permanent neck pain solution! Not giving that up for a pregnancy pillow! This is all I need!

AND the Coop body pillow waterproof protector is awesome! Fits perfect, great quality, noiseless, and is actually so soft I like sleeping on it without an additional pillow cover. Same thing for my travel pillow- the waterproof cover is soft and a little fuzzy, feels great against your skin! I always use waterproof covers for bedding and Coop has the best quality of all I've ever used.

So, yay Coop! High quality products from a company that really thinks about the details. I suspect this pillow will make a lot of people happy! I recommend you use a tape measure to see how much of you it will support. For me, the knees and feet are key, the arms are major bonus. Good luck! No matter what, Coop makes great quality stuff and you won't find anything lacking in that sense. Their products are worth the cost and I think this pillow is an awesome one! Will be using it beyond pregnancy for sure!

    Best. Pillow. Ever.
by OkinawaMeow (5 out of 5 stars)
    August 22, 2018

Update: 6 months later, there is no decrease in loft.

Usually, a normal body pillow is starting to look slightly deflated at this point. This pillow is still as voluminous and softly squishy as on day one. Love this. As soon as we got the lakeside cabin in the woods, I ordered another one, as I won't sleep without it if I have a choice.

Original Review: As a perennial side-sleeper I am a veteran of low back pain... and therefore have become a connoisseur or body pillows. Even if I go on vacation, I bring a body pillow case, and stuff it with hotel pillows to support my knee and prevent my back from twisting. I only wish this pillow could go with me.

First things first. This thing is heavy and unwieldy. Someone described it as a limp drunk, and I feel this is a hilarious and accurate description. If you ever want to feel like you're cuddling with another person, this is as close as it gets in pillow-form. But that very weight and resistance to compression is what makes this a great pillow. But that resistance somehow doesn't make it uncomfortable. You sink into it, very like any other memory foam pillow, but it doesn't feel like a brick because of the way the memory foam inside is almost shaved. Touching it is sort of surreal, and it makes you want to knead it, like a cat.

The size of this pillow is 60 inches long, therefore it doesn't fit in a normal body-pillow case. But the pillow's surface is knit, that means if you try to stuff it in a 54 inch case, it *will* fit, but that will compact the inner fill, and make it less comfortable.

As for temperature, it doesn't cool and it doesn't heat. It seems to take on your temperature very well. The few times I had a hot flash, it was hot, too...but that's my temperature, not the pillow. I didn't find it normally warming, just extremely cuddlesome.

Some folks have complained about the odor, and it did have a distinctive odor when it first came out of the package and I didn't like it. But touching it made me think it might be worth the while to let it air out for a bit, which I did, turning it frequently to help it do that faster. I would say I waited 2 weeks for the smell to go down. I am SO glad I persisted! The smell faded, and I was rewarded with the best sleep ever, with the cuddliest pillow on earth.

If you're tired of standard body pillows whose fill fritters out just when you need the support, I HIGHLY recommend you try this. I don't think I've ever been so passionate about a pillow before.

    Too much free room inside
by Ace (4 out of 5 stars)
    June 23, 2016

I really want to like this pillow. I gave it 4 stars because it is really comfortable material. The reason why I am not in love with this pillow is because it has a lot of extra room for the fluff to disperse. While I am sleeping I keep having to move the material around inside to gain back the "pillow." I hate that. What I ended up doing was pushing all the fluff to one end and tying the top with a hair tie. There was about 7 -10 inches of extra space.

If you sleep on a twin size mattress like I do
by Tiffany C (3 out of 5 stars)
    October 2, 2017

I bought this pillow about 10 months ago to help with my lower back pain (I'm a side sleeper). Upon first opening it, I found there to be a strong smell from the foam. I had read comments that the smell will go away after airing it out a bit. Well, I'm at 10 months and I can still smell the foam sometimes while sleeping with it. Honestly, it's a smell that makes me immediately think that it can't be healthy to be breathing in these "fumes". For now, I'm dealing with it, but I'm tempted to look elsewhere for another pillow that doesn't make me feel skeptical.

As far as the firmness of the pillow goes, it's quite firm and decently comfy. It keeps its shape, and doesn't bunch up after use. It's also a bit heavy of a pillow because of the material. My back pain? Can't honestly say -- I still experience some chronic pain, but there are other factors that could be affecting my back and not the pillow.

Initially, when I bought this pillow, I didn't realize that it was a body pillow (guess I didn't look at the measurements closely). If you sleep on a twin size mattress like I do, it takes up a lot of space -- like half the bed. There are times when I wish I was sleeping on a queen or king size bed because the pillow does take up a good amount of space.

Overall, it's ok and it's a good pillow to hug, but I'm not not in love with it mainly because of the lingering smell of the foam material.

BEST PILLOW EVER! JUST DON'T WASH IT!
by AleashaMatthews (1 out of 5 stars)
    May 13, 2018

I never really gave my pillows much thought until recently when, for the first time in my life, I'd gotten a brand new bed. When my Walmart pillows went flat I'd stuff them together into a single case, that's how much I didn't care. Until now! I started with the Eden last week because it was supposed to be softer (it IS soft while still maintaining support). My first pillow had an issue upon arrival so Tammy at Coop Home Good's sent me out a new one, bless her heart she's a really sweet person (I'm due to have my fifth child any day now and so of course being hormonal I actually started to cry when I called because the pillows are way out of my price range and I was already in trouble with my husband for that and most importantly I needed it before I went to the hospital to deliver so Tammy asked me if everything was OK and I sort of broke down even more but long story short she made sure I got the replacement and now I'm all set with that). Well, I liked the Eden so much I decided I needed a body pillow to go with it (I used my pregnancy as my excuse for needing it so my husband wouldn't blow a fuse quite as bad over me spending 60ish dollars on another pillow). I ordered it from the coop website so it took about a week to get to me but when it did I knew right away that I loved this body pillow. It's soft and squishy and supportive all in one. My kids love jumping on it and being thrown into it. I bought the protector as well because I wanted this pillow to last and I was a tad nervous the protector might take away from the squishy goodness of this pillow like every other pillow protector I've ever tried but believe me it DOESN'T! So after one night I was in love but I knew that I could use just a tad more fill because of the way the pillow stayed flatter wherever my legs sat on it. Again I caught Tammy when I called in (she's amazing she really is) and she was awesome about sending me more fill and making sure I get it in time before I deliver this next bundle of joy. Here's the reason I gave this pillow only 1 star :

I'm in extreme nesting mode so I decided to strip the bed and wash everything. I did like the instructions say and I latched the zipper closed with a safety pin before washing it. Imagine my total horror when I opened the washing machine and foam was literally EVERYWHERE! I don't even understand what happened, but there is now a rip along the bottom seam of the body pillow and that's where all the fill came out (the zipper was still secured in place). I hadn't even received the extra fill I had ordered yet. I was so upset after the hassle I went through to get my husband on board with me buying this pillow so out of frustration I threw it all away (in hindsight I shouldn't have done that but it was a sloppy wet mess and I didn't want him to tell me he told me so, and I also didn't want to call Coop Home Good's and try to explain this one after I'd already had an issue with my first Eden). I don't know why my pillow tore open but I know that it shouldn't have. I did order another Coop body pillow (this time through Amazon to take advantage of the 2 day shipping) and this time I know not to wash it. I'm out 60ish dollars for the first one though and that really really sucks (especially when my husband sees the bank statement with ANOTHER pillow charge on it yet no extra pillows on the bed). So, would I recommend this pillow? Beyond a shadow of a doubt YES just don't wash it! I'd also recommend the Coop pillow protectors, and I'd also recommend the Coop Eden. These people sell the most comfortable product ever and their customer service is matched by none. I think I received a "quality issue" body pillow and I'm obviously upset over it, but based on the 2 nights of amazing comfort it brought me I was still willing to shell out more money to make sure I got another one even with the cheap-o husband I'll have to deal with when he finds out....that should tell you right there that this pillow is worth it!

    Soft and Comfortable
    by A-MAZ (5 out of 5 stars)
    September 9, 2019

I originally was shopping for new non-zippered pillow covers for our old tired body pillows which were probably bought at Target 20+ years ago. I saw these shredded foam bamboo pillows on Amazon and initially balked at the price of $70. Being mostly a side sleeper, I thought why skimp on comfort, so I decided to try the COOP Home Goods Body Pillow at the same time as another top-rated USA manufactured pillow. Both offer long trial periods, 100% made in USA, and highly- rated.

The pillow came vacuum packed in plastic. As per instructions received by email and printed copy in the package, I carefully cut and removed the plastic wrap. The pillow began to expand on its own. There was a distinct but expected odor from the foam. I chose to put the pillow in the dryer on low heat with a dryer sheet for 1 hour. The odor persisted but lessened and the pillow fully expanded. A week later, the odor is almost completely gone.

The zippered bamboo cover is soft, smoothly textured, and cool. I carefully unzipped the cover with a little difficulty (had to remove fluff in the zipper head) to check-out the filling which is soft and fluffy as in the video. When you push down on the pillow it springs back. The filling compresses when pressed between my knees but expands back to the original loft when released. Compared to the competitor's pillow it has a softer springier feel. I also purchased the quality COOP pillow protector. The pillow is still breathable and not too hot with this cover and and pillowcase. I hope to avoid or minimize the need to launder this pillow as some reviewers indicated the filling can escape and long drying time required to thoroughly dry.

Customer service for this small family-owned business is good. I received emails about product care both before and after receiving my pillow. There is a 5 year warranty.

The choice was difficult as both pillows are very comfortable. Even though I could self customize this pillow by purchasing more filling, I personally preferred the firmness of the other pillow as received without customization.

Happily (I may still use it sometimes) I'm keeping this pillow since my husband liked this one better for himself. Thank goodness we have a large king size bed!

Once you got it you absolutely loved it.
by Starlight (5 out of 5 stars)
    February 9, 2017

Did you ever get something that you never knew that you needed or even wanted? Once you got it you absolutely loved it...that's how I feel about the Coop Body Pillow. I was looking to replace my regular pillows when I came across the great reviews for this pillow. While I wasn't in the market for a body pillow, I thought I'd give this one a try.

With all the Amazon reviews, I knew exactly what to do. When it arrived, I let it settle for a bit then I gently kneaded and separated each bit of foam inch by inch. The pillow expanded to fill out perfectly. Like many things in life, it pays to follow directions. If you do, I think you will be happy with this purchase. This pillow is the ideal blend of firmness and softness. I find that I'm not waking up in the middle of the night and that I'm able to sleep longer as well. I mostly sleep on my back and it can be used just like a standard pillow. For reading or watching TV in bed; I prop it up with a regular pillow.

The follow-up from the seller is excellent...something that you don't often see on Amazon. It shows how much they care about their product.

Absolutely love it, Five Stars + in every way.

    I Wish I Hadn't...
by Andi H. (1 out of 5 stars)
    March 27, 2017

Although I had high hopes for this pillow, I have retired it. This item is American-made and that was a big reason for my purchasing it. I have given it months to be the great pillow I wanted, but it's just not going to happen. It is heavy, lumpy, awkward, and uncomfortable. I read that one must give memory foam a chance to relax a bit. I tried that and did manage to carve out a nice spot for my head to nestle, but it is stubborn stuff to maneuver. If you have any sensitivity to memory foam, do not buy this product. It has a funky smell, and that prompted me to read about the foam filling: nothing good came out of that. For less money, you can get something better that doesn't have potential health risks.

    BEST BODY PILLOW EVER!!!
by Samantha (5 out of 5 stars)
    April 27, 2016

I have been buying almost everything on line for a decade by necessity (health - disabled) and have dealt with easily over 500 online merchants. I also want to say that my health includes severe constant chronic high pain and I sleep or am in bed about 98% of every day. Now, I don't usually do reviews and I NEVER disclose such personal information - BUT THIS product is so GREAT that I want to give you some reasons to know that I am qualified to speak on such matters. A pillow is IMPORTANT to me, so I researched and eventually decided of all the options that this sounded best. I WAS IN NO WAY EXPECTING TO BE SO IMPRESSED! I use a tempurpedic head pillow, and have experimented with many pillows, etc. Because I always sleep on my side I need something to keep my spine straight - I have been looking for years and body pillows just don't work -even in the beginning. I will try to update this after I have had more than a few weeks use. This pillow (or in 20 years like my tempurpedic its same replacement) is the only pillow I will ever use! It is superb - from all the body pillows I have tried this consistently provides firm support week after week. This will be the LAST body pillow you ever need to buy.

Resolved my pregnancy hip pain! So cozy too
by Matthew Russell (5 out of 5 stars)
    April 5, 2016

I bought this to resolve pregnancy - related hip pain and it worked like a charm. I looked at those giant pregnancy pillows and laughed out loud: first of all I am not giving up my goose down pillow under my head, secondly my toddler and occasionally even my husband like to cuddle and I can't imagine isolating myself in a giant pile of fluff. But more importantly I already had a body pillow, and I had discovered while on vacation that I needed a loftier pillow that goes all the way from my knees and my ankles to resolve my hip pain. Some pregnancy pillows look light they MIGHT be lofty enough but the size is absurd. This one is super lofty and doesn't compress too much during use. When your body is trying to widen and you are side sleeping and pressing your knees and or ankles together you are going the wrong way, the result is pain and soreness. It takes a very lofty pillow to keep both legs reasonably straight as you sleep. During the day, walking often and avoiding crossing your legs except when seated Indian-style is also helpful. You also need a supportive mattress, last pregnancy I had an old overly soft memory foam mattress and the hip pain was horrible. This time I am managing it much better, and things to this pillow it is about 90% resolved. Cheaper than regular chiropractic care, and I'm already thinking of ways to use it for in-bed nursing support in a few months.

Other reviewers commented on the smell, I was prepared for some initial offgassing and let my pillow air out for two hours before sending it to the dryer for 45 minutes. I haven't bought a cover yet and even without that there was no offensive odor, and you know pregnant ladies can smell everything so really I don't think that is a significant problem as long as you give it time to air out and follow other reviewers suggestions to fluff it up in the dryer to remove the last bit of odor and maximize its loft since it arrives compressed for shipping.
