Work well but strong dye

Functionally, these baking cups worked well. The cake stuck to them slightly though - I'm not sure if this was down to the consistency of the cake mix or whether they aren't 'greased' enough in manufacturing. However, I had a strange problem in that the bottom cups (multicolored swirl pattern) permanently dyed my metal Wilton mini cupcake tray. The ink would not come off with hand washing, or dishwashing. It was stuck thoroughly.

It made me wonder if the dye is strong enough to permeate the metal baking tray... does this have any kind of adverse affect if consumed...

Nice colors, that hold up through baking! Wilton is my favorite brand name, which I can trust, when it comes to my sweet tooth and for serving to others. I bake and cook for large groups for a living!

These cups have such a chemical smell to them that I couldn't put food in them. I'm returning them. I could throw them away because they didn't cost much but I'd rather return them for the principal of it.

The quality and variety was good although I was looking for a smaller size. The size was difficult to acertain based upon the advertised description. It did not explain how the measurement was determined.
