Great Tool

Love these! Lightweight and easy to use. I have a lot of tree debris and weeds on my 1/3 acre lot. These make short work of picking up the raked up piles. And easy on the back.

by JMB (5 out of 5 stars)

I bought these scoops to help us clean up a yard that is surrounded by oak trees, which drop not only tons of leaves in the fall, but millions of acorns!! Normally, we rake the leaves and acorns into piles then using the rakes, we gather and balance stacks of the leaves on top of the rake, then deposit into wheelbarrows. The activity alone of using the rake to gather and deposit the leaves is exhausting AND hurts our backs so bad that it is very difficult! I have been seeing people using these scoop tools in their yards, and decided to give this particular style scoop a try, since because of the acorns in with the leaves...I thought this style would be more effective in capturing more of the acorns (and not fall between the "teeth" of other scoop designs) Well...I was right! These Releaf Leaf Scoops are FANTASTIC. They turned a rather physically daunting chore into a much easier one, not to mention we spend literally less than half of the time that we normally have spent gathering up all these leaves and acorns. We are going to purchase another pair for NEXT season!! Wonderful ingenious tool! A "Must-Have" for raking chores! Oh, another thing... In studying numerous styles of these scoops, we noticed that some of them seem to be sold as a single scoop. This is illogical! You need TWO of them to perform the chore they are designed for. These ReLeaf Leaf Scoops come in a PAIR!

I bought 3 different styles of leaf scoops, they all will serve different purposes

These are nice compared to other cheaper models and if you wanna do more scooping they have a greater capacity. They are a bit shorter so you do have to bend over farther. Their ends are more even than others that have a scallopped edge. Good high quality plastic, probably means they will last a long time.

Hulk Smash Puny Leaves!
by Josh F (5 out of 5 stars)
March 10, 2017

I picked these up to help get my lawn under control. I have several large oaks and a few pine trees in my yard. I saw so many positive reviews that I figured that these leaf scoops were worth a try, and I'm glad I did. The speed in which I can bag yard waste is significantly increased, and I feel much more efficient. I have big hands (I'm a size 14 shoe and wear XL gloves), and these still work fine for me. I strongly recommend that you pick a pair of these up!

Update 1/10/18- I feel like the Incredible Hulk when I use these, but they're amazing. Neighbors ask about them, but I can't argue with the ease of use and overall efficiency that they provide when it comes to picking up leaves. They've held up great and I strongly recommend them.

Lawn Care Company Owner Review
by J. Bradburn (5 out of 5 stars)
September 30, 2014

I have a lawn care company so to say I have tried everything almost seems redundant. Also, I typically do not get excited about a product because I feel it should do its job. However, these are seriously amazing. Ergonomically they wonderful because the hand part is like a baseball glove. It uses your arm to help support the load allowing a balanced feel to what is being picked up.

Another great feature is when I am trimming shrubs I can use a leaf blower to move the clippings out and rake them up. Then using these and a bag stand, will make child's play out of what would otherwise be a rough task. Picking up leaves is also great in that you can get a great amount, but you can also smash them straight down to compact them in the bag without the worry of hitting a stick and cutting your hands up.

If you pass up a chance to get a pair of these just know us lawn care guys are driving by and just dying to show you how much easier that chore can be for you by using this product.

Hugh disappointment ! they are super painful on my wrists and fingers, and cause arm stress to operate. I just used them for few hours today and will not use them again.

as it bruised my hands. It is smaller than I thought it would be by the pictures. I will not use them again.

I did like the color.

What a Great Idea
by Jajisee (4 out of 5 stars)

I like this concept a lot. Every spring I have tons of leaves on our 2 acres with trees. These will help greatly with that cleanup. I've used them once so far. The concept works great. I have large hands and it was difficult getting my hands with gloves into the grips. I'm wondering if a Velcro system for the back-of-the-wrist constraint would solve that problem. Given the time spent getting into and out of them, what one wants to do is rake a bunch of piles, then bring your cart and load it with the ReLeafs. I could get more debris in the ReLeafs than I could with a rake and one hand-- and I could rake the rest with my ReLeafs. It looks like they forgot one when you open the box; but they fit inside each other--easy for hanging on the pegboard in the garage, so that's handy. They may have tried the Velcro option already, probably more expensive to do that, but I think it would be easier to get on and off--at least for my XL hands. They are well constructed, and the plastic is more flexible than breaky--I had a couple of times where one of them bent backwards as I was scraping some heavy debris/tree bark etc. But it popped back immediately, so no damage done. I would have been pissed if it had broken. So far, so good! Velcro option for the wrist brace?

Great With One Caveat...
by WriterSteven (4 out of 5 stars)
December 5, 2016

I finally had a chance to tackle my leaves today. These make quick work of the leaf pile, but I have one issue with them. I'm a pretty big guy and wear an XXL glove and there is plenty of room for my big hands. It's the area that goes around the wrist that is my complaint. The top of the wrist is good, as the plastic is curved to fit the wrist, but the bottom piece is straight and rubs up against my wrist. It's really uncomfortable, but not a deal killer. I can live with it because they do pick up a boat load of leaves like nothing I've used before. If the wrist piece was curved on the bottom like the top, this would be a five star review. So , if you're built like a defensive lineman, you might think twice. The rest of you are going to love these scoops!

Good scoops
by Reviewer (4 out of 5 stars)
October 22, 2016

My driveway gets covered in pine needles and cones, and I thought these would be good for scooping up piles of those. I used them for that purpose this morning and they worked very well. I'm a small woman with small hands, and although these are very big I found them comfortable to use with gardening gloves. I was able to pick up the pine needles and drop them into my large yard waste barrel without stuff dropping everywhere. They aren't completely flat on the bottom, so there is some debris left on the driveway, but I am pleased with the job I could do with them.

I think $25 is a bit expensive for these. The plastic is sturdy enough for the job, but they seem like they could crack pretty easily under pressure from the wrong angle. But I chose them because I like the shape, and they seemed to be sturdier than the cheaper pointy hand rakes that are available.

Great for picking up large piles of leaves
by BOREDrightNOW (4 out of 5 stars)
May 20, 2019

As you can see from the picture I purchased two different types of leaf scoops. The green ones are great for picking up large piles of leaves twigs, grass. They're not so great with picking up the remnants that is left behind. That is where the yellow scoops come in. I use those to pick up whatever is left behind from the leaves, grass and twigs etc.
