Surprisingly a MUST HAVE for shaved ice!

I was initially embarrassed to have spent so much on a plastic scoop that appears to be about the same as any ladle or ice cream scoop that you can find in your drawer or add to the dollar store, but after using it the first time I must admit that it's a game changer for school being shaved or crashed ice. This makes it so easy to make the perfect snowballs at the perfect level of compactness that not only makes it easier to dish ice, but makes it better for the ice to absorb the flavor of the syrups. The long handle is surprisingly ergonomically correct and I bet this would be a great tool and any snowball fight but you won't find mine leaving my shaved ice station!
