It is more of a conversation piece now. It doesn't stay in my wine bottles. I most frequently buy Barefoot the larger bottles, but it just sits in there...it doesn't actually fit tightly. If you were to tip the bottle it would just fall right out.

Got it for a gag gift for the wife. Knocked it off the counter before ever using it and it broke. The plastic is hollow and is not durable for drops and use. With wine.... things will be dropped... eventually.

This was a HILARIOUS gag gift! So I wrapped it up for Christmas, addressed it to my mom from Santa, and put it under my 94 year old grandmother's tree at Thanksgiving. We didnt arrive to my grandmother's house until the afternoon on Christmas day. All of the presents had been opened except for the ones for me, my husband, and kids. About an hour after we got there, Mom goes on to thank me for throwing her under the bus! She had opened it thinking it was from my grandmother since it said that it was from Santa. My grandmother, not seeing what was in the box, said that she had sent her helper into town to pick it up for her, which was not the case. They all got a big laugh once they figured out who the prankster was! We did try it in a bottle of wine and it works perfectly. The little man is very well made. It will be bringing lots of laughs for years to come!

Doesnt seal properly. Seems to be more of a gag gift than actually useful. Like the humor but also thought it would be functional.

I bought this for my roommate's birthday and everyone cracks up when they come over and see Sir Perky sitting on the shelf! He did not fit in the one wine bottle we have tried, but he definitely caused a few laughs during the process!
