Great stuff, cleaned aluminum wheels that I thought were gone.

I.combined this with two other purchases, the chemical guys metal polish, and ball buster rim polisher. The wheels had a haze over the aluminum and years of brake dust accumulation.

I really thought they the were unsalvageable. However, with the combination of these 3 products, they were revived to like new condition.

I have added some pictures where you can see the before and after. I should've taken the before pictures, before even hitting them with this spray, but you'll clearly still see the difference.

Stronger then Diablo Wheel Cleaner

Wanted something a little better to clean my wheels with then Chemical Guys Diablo since my schedule often means I can't get to clean my truck as often as I would like. This stuff definitely is a great use for very dirty wheels. Diablo is great if you can stay on top of cleaning your wheels and/or if your car isn't driven every day. But for a daily driver that may go a few weeks before getting washed this wheel cleaner is better. Really gets the brake dust and dirt off, and does a much better job on the barrel of the wheel then Diablo in my opinion

This product worked well for me. I'm not sure if it worked any better than other cleaners have worked for me in the past. I bought it when I was buying some other products to try. I started out with my almost empty bottle of turtle wax tire cleaner. I cleaned one tire and ran out. I then tried this spray on the "clean" tire and the suds almost immediately started turning brown. Whether the other cleaner would have caused this reaction if used again, I don't know. I just know that it did a find job. My tires are clean and the wheels shined up really nicely.

It's a new to me truck and it was pretty dirty. There was something weird on the front left wheel. This stuff definitely helped, but it's still there. I think it might come off with future cleanings. Over all, I'm happy with this product.

Something weird about it, is the bottle says to dilute it 1:4 with water. I don't get that. Why would they sell it to you like this. There is no extra bottle to dilute it with and it comes with a spray head. It didn't seem that killer strong to me. Either way, it worked and I'm happy with it, but I don't know if I'd go out of my way for it.

Best Wheel Cleaner Ever!

This wheel cleaner worked beyond my expectations. Most wheel cleaners do a mediocre job at best when it comes to removing brake dust, grease, grime and tar from your rims. I used the CG wheel cleaner on my rims today and was shocked at how well the product worked!

The bottle suggests dilution of the product. I decided to try using the product straight from the bottle. Spraying each wheel as directed and lightly scrubbing the rims with a soft brush, I was surprised to see how much brake dust came off during rinse from the tire, inside the rim, outside the rim, and the lug nut area. When I dried my rims, there was NO brake dust on the towel.

The rims I used this product on are typhoon black rims which are glossy. This product did not harm the rims in any way. The rims were as glossy as they were when I first purchased the car. As always, you should test the cleaner on an inconspicuous spot on your rims before general use. Additionally, the CG spray was pleasant and did not give off any noxious or eye-watering fumes.

I highly recommend this product to you for cleaning your rims.

Being a former owner of many show cars, I am a freak when it comes to auto detailing. I've always used big retail brand products but after doing some research across social media I'm glad I found chemical guys. It been an addiction And yet here's Another Chemical guys product that I originally bought in a 16oz and after the first use I bought a gallon. From hub caps, painted rims, to chrome wheels, this wheel cleaner is definitely my go to now.

Deceptively Effective

My painted aluminum wheels on my 08 Silverado had become so stained and ugly that I thought the clearcoat had peeled in places. Other wheel cleaners couldn't get the brake dust and dog pee stains off. When I vigorously rubbed one of the places and noticed my thumb was black, I realized it was stained not peeled, and I needed a better cleaner.

I sprayed the Chemical Guys cleaner full-strength onto the wheels and tires and left it to soak a couple minutes while I went into the house to get a brush and a sponge. When I came back, I was disappointed to see that it apparently hadn't affected the black stained areas at all... or so I thought.

Once I wiped it with a wet sponge, the stains wiped away effortlessly and my wheels looked new again. If this stuff can bring my wheels back from the neglect that they suffered, it can clean just about anything. Joe Bob says two thumbs up.

Cleans brake dust and wheels very well. You need to have proper brushes at hand to get into all crevices of the wheel, but all-in-all this product works great. I diluted solution 4:1 as recommended and had no problems cleaning dirty wheels once a month. It's waaay to concentrated to be used straight, must be diluted.

I used a scale to measure 4:12oz by weight and it worked great. Couple of drops fell on the scale and after cleaning it out, I never realized that my scale was actually stainless steel =), that's how well it cleans.

I have a Acura Rsx with powder coated white rims and it can def be a challenge to keep them clean. My friend showed me the video on chemical guys on youtube and showed me their other products which he used for carpet and did a fantastic job but when it came to this i was happy at first but let down in the end. Upon first spray and cleaning with their brush it became extremely filthly and i was stoked it was working and it partially was. After a spray down it was clear there was alot of break dust still imbedded in the rim... i would say this product is more for a show car that isnt driven much... everyday drivers this isnt going to cut the caked on break dust. Overall product wasnt what i was hoping for and for the price i was a bit let down.

Had been using a much more expensive wheel clearer for my aluminum wheels with a smell that makes you want to wear a biohazard suit. But the Chemical Guys Wheel Cleaner worked like a charm - with no offensive odor. Used a garden sprayer with a diluted mixture, as instructed, on the pre-rinsed wheel wells, tires, and wheels. A soft wheel brush (also from Chemical Guys) to work the stubborn grime loose and everything was very clean when rinsed. Works great and will save me a lot of money compared to my previous go-to product.

This wheel cleaning product workeded VERY WELL. I've used Chemical Guys Diablo wheel cleaner before, and this wheel cleaner works as well. Still not sure what the difference is between the two. But I spray the wheel cleaner on my wheels dry. I then scrub my wheel with a wet wheel brush. And EVERY dirty or brake dust comes off. And I am left with an impressive shine on my wheels. Would buy again. But I would like to see them offer a Wheel Gel in a 12oz container just like the Diablo wheel gel.
