Great value, a little on the small sideby MN08 (5 out of 5 stars)

I love the luvs commercials because they are so true, first child you get everything premium, everything name brand, then you learn that the other brands work just as well. Luvs fit my son well and I love the price. We have never had a blow out or leak that wasn't the parents fault (i.e. not putting the diaper on correctly). In my opinion the sizes are a little off as my son needs size 5's and he's around 25 lbs and he does not have a large butt. I have never had a problem with the tabs ripping off or diaper breaking, and with two toddlers in diapers I've had to change a lot of diapers. I also love the big packs they give you so they last a long time, no constantly opening up little packs. The best part is definitely that Amazon delivers to my door as it can be crazy leaving the house, and automatic monthly delivers mean its one less thing I have to keep track of.
Love Luvs

Huggies gave our first child a mild rash anywhere the diaper touched and Huggies and Pampers both cost more than Luvs so we have been using Luvs exclusively. All sizes that we have used, from NM to 6, have proven to hold quite a significant load (wet or otherwise). This is especially true compared to some store-brand diapers we've used. There's been a Huggies commercial on TV about the diapers having chambers to prevent sagging - these seem to be made the same way. Even with a full diaper, as long as it was put on property these don't sag. We won't buy anything but Luvs diapers for either of our babies (and we really like using the Amazon Moms program with a diaper subscription so we get boxes in the mail however often we need them - check both of those out if you haven't; Moms and Subscriptions).
Great diaper with very few leaks

I think diapers vary from child to child. For us this was definitely true. With our first, the only diapers we could find that didn't leak were Pampers. We tried those with our second child, and the results were horrific. A friend gave us a big box of Luvs, so we tried them. These are the only brand of diapers that we can use with our second child that do not regularly leak. There are the occasional leaks, but they are few and far between. I find them to be pretty soft, and my daughter moves around well. For reference, my daughter is a little on a chubby side with somewhat chubby legs, although she isn't overly big. Our first is long and skinny, so that may be the difference.
Subscribing is awesome!

This is a GREAT BUY! Subscribing to this product has saved me tons of money. Wish I found this out sooner. This is way cheaper than where I was buying diapers from before and the boxes size is perfect for a 1 month supply. I love how they email me a couple days before shipment to remind me that it's coming and ask if I need to change anything about it or I can just cancel it and not get that shipment that month. It saves me money and time and that is great in my book!
Getting expensive but still good quality

Diapers were the reason we have an amazon prime membership and subscribe and save.
We have been through many diapers and have found LUVS to be our go-to diaper for value and fit.
Somewhere along the line in our subscribe and save shipments, these started to become a bit more expensive and the same price as store-brand diapers.
We now buy diapers at our local store and use store brand or any brand with coupons to keep costs down. We are not picky and they are all the same to us.
These diapers fit our son well and we have had the fewest leaks with LUVS.
Compared to major brand diapers these have held up in wetness.
What they don't have:
Many of the major brands use licensed characters. We don't watch much television so it really didn't matter to our son anyway.
Great combination of Value and Blowout Prevention

After trialing multiple different brands early on, we have used these diapers with both of our girls and love them. We had heard good things about Costco diapers and tried them initially because they were supposed to be the best quality for an economy option- but just kept having blow out after blow out. After switching to Luvs, we have way less overflows and blow outs and the cost of Luvs is waaay less than pampers or huggies and way more effective than Costco diapers. We also haven't had any problems with allergic issues either.
Loved them but have been experiencing some issues with latest box

We have 5 kids ranging from 13 years to 9 months- and it is safe to say we have tried just about every diaper known to man at some point. When I did some comparison shopping via S&S, I liked the price and decided to give the Luvs a shot for both our 9 month old and our 2 year old. We were very pleased with the fit and function of the diapers. However, on our second box of #5's we have experienced huge exploding diaper issues- Just about every morning I (or more usually, my wife) is cleaning up exploded diaper debris from the crib and changing table. This did not happened with the 3's or the previous #5 box. Maybe we received a defective batch? I don't believe these are the new and improved with night lock, but the earlier version. We still have one box of the previous #5, but if this continues with that box, we'll have to switch to another brand. What is the use of an exploding diaper?
What's the big deal?

We've been using Luvs for a little over a year now. On our first kid! When he was a new born, we were super paranoid and started off in ultra super sensitive Huggies. And then I quit my job (to pursue my bachelor's) and we had to make some adjustments. Our son is prone to have sensitive skin and we have had no issues with rashes. We change him every 2-3 hours (sometimes 4, because now we're potty training!). We have never had an over night leak. Except once.. because I think our son may have eaten half a watermelon before bad. (I blame daddy.)
We recently ran out a couple days early and had to buy Huggies from our local Walgreens. What a nightmare. They leaked on us twice. Once overnight and once while casually walking around the mall.
I think the diaper count HAS gone down, but that doesn't seem to be a major issue with me. They are still about...$10-15 less than huggies (per amazon price) and have more per box.
Decreased Quality and Quanity has us moving Up & Up

I was a loyal luvs purchaser starting in 2010 with our first child...since they have cut the # of diapers and reduced quality. ..Even with my Amazon mom discount, Price per unit, plus tax (which is new to WI because they bought land and a permit) drove me (literally) to give Target's store brand diapers another whirl. To my pleasant surprise they are as good as Huggies (which we couldn't afford before) and after cartwheel, watching $10 gcs, and 5% off with the Red card...I am getting size 5s about 16 cents per unit....and I can use them for overnights in lieu of my Huggies overnights. .which used to be the only thing that would keep my son dry...I do miss the convenience of door delivery. ..but it looks like Target may be offering diaper subscriptions too. Watch your pennies. ..they all add up.
but I've convinced my children that that little monkey is just as cool as Mickey Mouse

The LUVS commercials with the slogan, "Ya live, ya learn, and then you get LUVS." That's me. I bought Huggies and Pampers for my first two and then halfway through my second child realized that these are the bomb. They NEVER leak and my two year old drains her entire body at night. I'm assuming they cut costs on not having a character plastered all over them... but I've convinced my children that that little monkey is just as cool as Mickey Mouse. I will NEVER pay a ridiculous amount for diapers ever again.
