Used 3 times a week in combination with shampoos that have other active ingredients, like Nizoral AD Shampoo, chronic scalp problems quickly respond to treatment.By removing excess flaking, this should also help reduce the discomfort from itching usually associated with flares of these dandruff causing conditions. Salicylic acid, a BHA, is the active ingredient, and is ideal for removing and smoothing out dry, rough, flaking skin on the scalp.
