Product Description
The officially licensed Iron Coin of the Faceless Man: the coin given to Arya Stark by Jaqen H'ghar, which helps her escape to Braavos. In the story it is used as a recognition token by a secretive guild of assassins. In the real world this is the coin that George carries and gives to cast and crew when he visits the shooting sites. Fans use them as challenge coins and gaming tokens and as immersive fantasy touch-pieces. It is 27mm in diameter and weighs 6 grams of pure metallurgical grade iron, with an aged and waxed finish. It comes inserted on a full color collector card, protected by a plastic sleeve. These are pieces designed to be carried constantly and will develop a beautiful "glow" from continued rubbing with other pocket objects. Beware of Counterfeits! This popular coin has spawned at least five known counterfeits, all beleived to be made in China. The counterfeits are all oversize, made of cast zinc pot-metal, contain lead, and are non-magnetic. If you purchase fulfillment by Shire Post Mint, then you can be certain that we are the maker of this coin and that this is the genuine licensed article. If you receive a coin fulfilled by another seller that does not match the description above, it may be a counterfeit. In that case you should report the substitution to Amazon. If you would honor the creative masterwork of George R.R. Martin, please do not purchase the counterfeits, and report them whenever you see them.Features

A man is pleased with his purchaseby Brand794 (5 out of 5 stars)

Pretty much exactly what I expected from the pictures. While I agree that it is a little smaller than I would like, that doesn't detract from the quality at all.
It has a decent weathered look to it but still looks pretty artificial. I plan to carry it around though and I'm sure it will just look better and better as time goes by.
Be warned though, iron by nature rusts very easily so be sure to keep it away from moisture if you remove it from the plastic sleeve it comes in.
The paper with it is both a certificate of authenticity and opens up and has a description of the coin, how it was made, what it says and even a exert from the book from when it was described.

Fantastic item. I obviously bought it as I'm a huge fan of A Song Of Ice And Fire, but also got it as fiddle item that I rolled through my fingers at my desk. The pressing is clear, and looks great. I'm not sure if some of the highlights are etched or patina'ed, but the give that vague outlier of a face on the hooded side. The reserve side is beautifully pressed and looks like it could be a genuine coin from a long lost past. Playing with it, you do get the "copper penny" smell. However, the item is highly magnetic, so I'll assume it really is pure iron. It was placed in a thick stock card, and it's great. It really let's you connect to your inner 'nerd,' and I say that proudly, as one. I would love to look into their other item, and can only imagine how impressive they are as well. HIGHLY recommend Shire Post Mint items.
No, boss, it means "All men must serve," it's clearly encouraging me to work! Never mind that first

I'd be tempted to complain that it's easy to lose, but it's a coin and that should therefore be expected.
Because I want to be able to display this without losing it, I attached a piece of magnetic tape to a small, angled piece of wood and, since this coin is mostly iron, it adhered right away to the tape without a problem. Only way it's coming loose is if I deliberately remove it, so that minor conundrum has been resolved.
Text is clearly legible and it's a lovely conversation starter for those passing my work desk.
Amazing Great Product and Service! Make sure you buy straight from Shire Post Mint!

So after I received a counterfeit one(was a necklace pendant and not the coin) in my first order I did another order, this time I made sure SHIRE POST MINT was the seller. What I received in the mail was pretty freaking awesome. It was a letter with my name hand written on the front and sealed on the back with a valar morghulis stamp(wax?). The only downside was this was purchased as a gift for my coworker but has my name on it. Oh well. She said "I'll always remember who gave it to me." with a smile. Shire Post Mint has made 100% a lifelong customer out of me.
Awesome worth the purchase.

I absolutely love these coins. It absolutely lives up to the description and presentation the seller has provided.
Sturdy packaging, fast delivery, amazing product. I bought two to start with. I wanted to see the coin outside of the package for myself. It was totally worth it.
The front image could have been the Gray Fox! The back has the writing and design you want from a GoT item.
Smooth yet detailed art work. A fun buy for anyone interested in such an item.
Beautiful

This is a beautiful coin, machine struck in 99.9% pure iron by Shire Post Mint. If you are unaware of basic metallurgy, pure iron tends not to rust like steel (iron+carbon), and instead develops a dark grey patina. Within the hood, you can just make out the contours of a face, too indistinct to place it to any one man, which is so very apt, considering the lineage of this coin. The reverse has crisp lettering, with the high Valyrian saying "Valar Morghulis Valar Dohaeris" which translates to "All men must die. All men must serve." The lettering is in English, with a suitably fantastic font. I'm unaware if GRRM ever delved into a Valyrian writing system, so English will have to do! Overall, a beautiful coin that will last a lifetime. For a while, I kept it in my pocket as a modern day memento mori, and it serves that purpose well, but eventually worried about losing it. Now it resides on my bookshelf with a few other treasured items.
Great collector's piece!

Excellent replica for collectors. About the size of a nickle & made of iron as stated. The images are very clear with the man of the flip side even having vaguely defined shadowed features. Deducted one star because the coin is just glued to its presentation card/booklet & is covered with a slick wax coating that protects from rust but gives the coin a slightly unpleasant feel. Find a decent case/display for it though & it is a fantastic addition to a collection.
Doesn't feel like metal, not thick enough

It's definitely metal, it's magnetic but it doesn't feel like it, at least not when new. It's a little smaller than expected and thinner but it's not bad for the price. It just needs some scuffing, the only problem is scuffing it to the point where it looks "real" would probably remove detail it needs to distinguish it from a simple iron disk.
Great got any GoT fan

I got this for myself, because I'm a huge Got fan and also because I use worry stones and thought this would be cooler to carry. The quality is really nice and other fans go crazy over it. It is pretty expensive for what it is tho. It was received in a nice cover. Overall a great product and very unique
Great keepsake, even better than I'd expected

This little coin is an impressive piece of work! I wasn't so sure about it when I ordered, since some of the reviews here are so negative. But it's just as described, and a beautifully-made / high quality little keepsake. OK, the real thing (if we lived in the Seven Kingdoms) would likely not be so perfectly round, and would likely be thicker than this. I plan on letting it rattle around in my pocket with my keys for a while so it'll pick up some real-life wear.
