Only received half of the batteries

I love my wireless containment system, but I hate the batteries. They are simply CR2032 batteries, but packaged in a way that makes them cost so much more. I decided to buy them in bulk to save a little money after computing the costs per battery for all the different packs (this was the best at the time). I received them today, but I only received 3 packs (6 batteries total), instead of the 6 packs (12 batteries total) that I ordered. They even came in an appropriately labeled box (see pictures), but the box is so small, I don't think 6 packs could have fit in there. I love Amazon and this is the first time I've had a bad order from them, but if I pay $34 for batteries, I expect to get all, not half, of them.

Man, do these batteries only last 10 minutes? I've gone through a whole pack in a month. Do they work? Yes... but the batteries die and there's no way to tell. Our neighbor brought our dog back after she was hanging out in their yard. Then the dog went into the street on a different occasion when the battery died. Does it work when the battery has a charge? Sure... No telling how long it's going to last.

I can't recommend this system. No way to tell if your battery died. Short battery life. High replacement cost. Not safe.

I tend to buy these batteries in bulk because I have several dogs contained using a wireless pet fence system. The ability to purchase multiple batteries at a reasonable price is a very cost effective way of buying replacement batteries for their collars. The life cycle of the batteries is sufficient in my opinion.

We have used this when our dog was a pup. 7 years later and all we have to do is buy replacement batteries. Our dog is so in tune with this fence that she don't even have to have the collar on to stop at the fence.

These batteries are a lifesaver! They are so much more expensive at Pert Smart, and with 5 dogs, the cost can be prohibitive. We are not allowed to have fences in the area we live and have to have an underground or wireless system to keep the dogs in the yard and we have found the wireless works the best. Thank you for offering these batteries at a reasonable price since they have to be replaced ever 20 days.

Be smart and only buy these PetSafe branded batteries. I tried the inexpensive 12 pack of no name batteries and they don't last more than a few weeks and lost power while being stored. No bargain and they also caused a slight vibration when they got low which of course freaked out the dogs.

Ordered the batteries to use after my current supply ended. Attempted to use the first battery about a month after receiving them but it was dead. Same thing the other one in the pack but it was too late for a refund.

Reliable and tough

Our dog has had his collar that uses these batteries for approximately 2 years. Thanks to the wireless fence and the collar that these batteries are for, our dog has learned his boundaries. He goes outdoors into a yard with no fences and he stops at the boundaries. We did the training required, and since that time, we've not had to worry about him wandering away. Love it that when the battery is dying it sends out beeps, and the smart owner replaces them the first time he hears a beep.

What the owner MUST remember is to remove the collar before taking the dog beyond his boundaries, either walking or in the car, because if the collar remains on him, he will get shocked going beyond his boundaries.

My dog will ALWAYS have collars with these batteries! Each battery lasts approximately 30 days.

Update: some have asked how long these last. Mine were delivered April 24 and I am just now replacing the batteries in my dogs' collars. That is a full 3 months plus about a week before they started flashing that they needed a new battery.

The first time I ordered this product I only received 6 vs 12 batteries. Amazon was quick to offer solutions. The batteries seem to last long than a month but a little less than three. I don't get the feeling of some other reviewers that "I am always changing batteries." They work great.

These batteries are easy to use and more durable than the cheaper ones, they last a lot longer than other brands. I did give 5 stats but was disappointed I ordered 12 and only got 6! I did get a refund for ones I didn't get but I have 6 dogs I really needed the other 6, as spares!
