Love the Puzzle

This puzzle is for a child who loves learning about outer space. I thought it would be a great idea to combine a few skills and so I got this puzzle.

This is a great puzzle. The pieces are nice and large making it easy for the kids to manipulate and see the image. It comes with 100 pieces adding a nice challenge to the skill. My favorite part is the materials. Since kids will mainly be playing with the puzzle, I love how they are made from a thick cardboard. Not easily bendable.

We love it.

Many pieces aren't flat :(

I am shocked by all of the positive reviews! I bought 2 different 100 piece Ravensburger puzzles. The puzzle pieces do not sit flat at all! Most of the pieces I had to bend slightly to get them to fit together. The Thomas the Train puzzle had the same problem, although not quite as bad. My 4yo really loved the design and we've put it together a few times (with my help), but I am still disappointed by the flimsy pieces.

Large enough to be a challenge, small enough to allow kids to learn independently

The pieces fit together really well -- and since it's only 100 pieces, young children can help out, and the "older" people can mildly assist. The kids feel really good about themselves when they can do this puzzle on their own. It's self-affirming to them. We have a 3 year old and a 5 year old, and they can finish this puzzle with limited assistance in about 30-40 minutes. It's a wonderful "unplugged" activity.

Great puzzle for preschool - kindergarten age

Our grandson reached the age when he enjoys puzzles, but the ones with 10 or 12 very large pieces, designed for maybe 2 to 3 year old children, were just not challenging. We started looking for puzzles with more pieces to give him a challenge. This 100 piece space & planets puzzle was perfect. He worked on it avidly (age 4) until he got the whole thing back together. The price was very reasonable, the pieces fit very well and they are durable cardboard.

These are good puzzles. I bought multiple puzzles for my 7 year old son for Christmas and he loves them. They are challenging enough that it takes him a little while to put together, but not hard enough where he's spending days doing them. They are fun for me to do, too!

I bought these puzzles for my friend, and she loves the 100 piece puzzles. They fit on top of any surface. She uses a tv tray table. I recommend any one of them. They are useful for brain therapy. They put you in the present moment.

Superb quality. These are the thickest puzzle pieces I have ever seen in a cardboard puzzle. My five-year-old loved this and had no problem putting it together with a bit of concentration. I will certainly be looking for other puzzles buy this brand to purchase!

This was for my 7 year old and he loves it. It wasn't too easy, it gave him a challenge. At the same time, it wasn't too hard that he felt defeated either. The recommended ages for their puzzles is spot on.

What you'd expect from Ravensburger: high quality and durability. Our four year old is quite rough on all his toys, puzzles are no exception. This and all his Ravensburger puzzles have held up beautifully to much abuse and many, many times of assembling and dessembling. This is a good intermediate size for little fingers. Very pleased. Will continue to purchase and recommend Ravensburger.

We really loved this puzzle. I bought it for my 6 year old. Several pieces came bent so that was disappointing but otherwise we love the puzzle. The piece size is great for him to find the details and match the pieces and it's a nice thick and sturdy puzzle.
