Product Description
EISCO seven-part human eye model is used for anatomical study, and is 3.0X life size for display of ocular features. The model has a removable sclera upper half with cornea and eye muscle attachments, both choroids halves with iris and retina, lens, and vitreous humor for detailed examination, and is hand-painted for accurate representation. The model is numbered, and includes a key card for identifying features. The model is mounted on a base for demonstration purposes, and is made of durable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic-coated fiberglass. PVC plastic is corrosion resistant, lightweight, and has high strength, resisting reactions with acids, gasoline, alcohol, and hydrocarbons. Fiberglass contains many extremely fine glass fibers in a plastic composite, and is commonly used for its strength, nonreactivity, and to insulate against sound, heat, and electricity. The model measures approximately 12.0 x 12.0 x 17.0cm (L x W x H). (L is length, the horizontal distance from left to right; W is width, the horizontal distance from front to back; H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point.) The model is suitable for high school or college students, or ages 13 to 21.
