Lazy dish washers, unite!

Gee, don't know what I can add to the umpteen other 5 star reviews - these are sturdy, well designed plates that help the lazy among us avoid doing the dishes! :-)

Seriously, they hold up well, are easy to carry, and don't leak/soak through.

Know your prices, but Amazon beats my big box store every time.

Strong, Recycleable, and BPA free

These are my favorite Paper Plates. They are strong, stand up to liquids and you can even eat a steak on them if you don't use a serrated edge steak knife. They are completely safe for the microwave. Cleanup is a breeze considering you can just put them in the recycling bin (without food of course. Ha) The value is great compared to heating a lot of water to do dishes for a group event.

Some time ago, I contacted Dixie to inquire about the coatings on their paper dishes... I was assured they do not use BPA plastics in their coatings. From their website "Dixie® products are not manufactured with BPA or phthalates."

All in all, these Ultra Paper Plates are the king. I've tried pretty much every kind of paper dishes out there and I always find myself returning to the Dixie Brand... even if they do cost a little more... you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to this item.

This month I received a box of brawny paper towels instead of the paper plates. Last month we got toilet paper. Obviously the inventory is incorrect and needs to be updated.

We typically purchase our disposable plates from Samsclub and use Members Mark brand. We decided to order these and give them a try. Unfortunately we don't find them as sturdy. They are fine for sandwiches and/or dessert. However for a heavier meal, especially when microwaving, they do not hold up.

They are advertised as microwave safe, sturdy and cut resistant. However this is where they fall short.

These are such a great value. Hate to admit it but we're the household that uses disposable tableware daily so a large pack like this really comes in handy. I like that there are several smaller packs. You could take one to a party, one to work, leave one at home, or leave them in storage til ready to use. They're sturdy and I don't feel the need to stack two even on a full plate.

I hate washing dishes...

I'm probably not sounding much like an environmentalist here, but I hate washing dishes. I get these things on subscribe and save, it totally cuts down on doing the dishes. But, then again, it saves on water and electricity, so maybe I'm on to something.

The plates are fairly strong -- you can double up if you're paranoid. I don't know what else to say about the these plates. They're paper and have some sort of coating on them so spills and grease don't sneak through as easily. They hold up well in the microwave, but probably not in the dishwasher (but that's the point). And, they double as a chew toy for my dog if I forget to throw them away (not recommended).

Probably the most economical high quality disposable plates. I use these for camping/RV applications to avoid utilizing more water to wash dishes. I also use these at home when I'm just being lazy and I don't want to wash anything. It's not environmentally responsible, but when you have to, this is my choice. Still, they're much better than using styrofoam plates that cannot be burned or recycled in a camping situation. They're very rigid and can hold a good amount of weight when full. Worst case, you can always double-up if needed. This packs is a good economical choice. I would recommend.

Taste Horrible

These paper disks taste horrible. Do not eat these. My friend suggested putting our food on them, then using a disposable fork to eat the food off of them. This was a much better idea. I was putting my food on the paper disk and folding it in half like a pita pocket and then eating the whole package. This was not a good idea.
