Home Run Weather 2012 uses real-time weather data, years of game statistics, and NASA-style physics to determine if conditions will help or hurt baseball flight. How it works: select the location of your professional ballpark (U.S. and Canada only) and the time up to 24 hours into the future. Home Run Weather pulls the appropriate weather data, runs the calculations and delivers a home run weather index on a scale from 0 to 10. "10" means conditions will most likely help baseball flight. "0" means conditions will most likely hinder baseball flight. Note: this app considers atmospheric conditions only. Baseball pitcher, batter and park dimensions are not part of the algorithm. Though these calculations are based on math and physics they are for entertainment purposes only.
