I'll give this four stars simply because I feel it is overpriced for what it is. Looks nice on or beside my stove, and won't melt like the typical plastic spoon rests, but it is rather thin and I question long term durability. Size is medium, can fit two large cooking spoons or spatulas. Why are most spoon rests only capable of holding one cooking utensils? I'm usually using more than one for different dishes being prepared.
Update a year later. This spoon rest still looks great and has held up well. I initially thought it might be too fragile, but despite a chip from mishandling, it has not really affected it. Do still feel it was a bit overpriced, but I am glad I bought it, as it is both practical and attractive.

This is a really pretty spoon rest. Mine arrived and it's in good shape. Packaging could have been a little better but it didn't get broken. I love the pattern and ordered the matching s&p shakers. (Will review when I get them) They're all gifts for my mom and I know she'll love the rustic/primitive pattern.

It looks great in the pictures but I've ordered this twice because I have the rest of the set but this has always comes broken in pieces. It is harder to return than it's worth. They really need to package this better.

The finish on this spoon rest is great. I bought it to use to put candy in, but it is very shallow (as a spoon rest should be). The picture makes it look a little deeper than it is. My fault for trying to use it for another purpose. I still have it in my kitchen since it goes great with my primitive decor.

I have two of these, which I use in my bathroom to go with the Park Designs tissue box, soap dispenser, toothbrush holder and cup. My countertop scratches easily, and I use the spoon rests to place the aforementioned bathroom items on.
