For a staph infection, my dog was on 28 days of antibiotics. Once the pills were done, he was having some stomach trouble. After a few days of these he was fine.

They are pretty small and I thought it might help to give him a few extra to jump start his system on the second day. BIG MISTAKE. HE woke me up at 3 in the morning and needed to be let out. So, even though they are small, they are powerful.

My dog likes to eat things off the ground - acorns, poop, dirt, etc. I decided to try this probiotic because I was concerned that she wasn't digesting all the nutrients from her food which can lead to scavenging. After a few days I noticed a big difference, she doesn't scavenge off the ground nearly as much and she is much more "regular".

Dogs loved them, but not at that price

On the good side:
1) The dogs loved them, so they are easy to feed.
2) They don't smell like roadkill.
3) They did seem to help with the allergy-related itching my fur-kids were suffering from. It didn't stop the itching, but definitely seemed to ease it.
4) I didn't notice any change in bowel habits, which was a concern as both our fur-kids have highly sensitive stomachs

On the not-so-good side:
1) The product was somewhat dry and crumbly when it arrived, even though it was within it's marketable dates (actually, I think it was nearly a year to expiration). Several chews were broken into pieces, and the bottom of the bag looked like a few more had been completely pulverized.
2) At one chew per 25# of body weight, a bag of 60 won't last long with big breeds.

All-in-all, they made a good trial run into the world of canine probiotics, but I will look for something more suited to large breeds for the next lot.

These have worked amazingly for my shih-tzu/terrier pup. He was a rescue who had heartworms. The treatment for that included antibiotics. After that therapy, I started him on these to help build his immunity and gut health. After we were done with the bag I didn't order any more. Mainly out of forgetfulness and thinking maybe he didn't need them anymore. Well, after a couple of weeks off of these he struggled with an almost constipated type of poop. And a side note he seemed to not be drinking as much water as normal. So, I ordered these again and immediately, after taking just 1 of these, one day later his poop was healthy looking and he the effort was stress-free. And all of a sudden he seemed to be drinking more water too. I will definitely be keeping these in his daily regimen from now on. He also eats them as if they were a treat, which I give them as part of his daily allowance of treats.

Okay, so, long review...sorry......this is the 6th probiotic we have tried for our rescue pup. we got her at 4 months and she already had signs of hip dysplasia. she's not quite old enough yet for the surgery to repair it though. until then the vet has her on pain medicines which give her constant diarrhea. We have been trying different probiotics since we got her back in January. I have tried several that cost upwards of 30 to $40 a month with no luck. Even on probiotics her stools were like runny pudding. I saw this one and I saw the price so I was skeptical because it was much lower than what I've been purchasing. But I Saw a few of the reviews and thought that I should try it. By day 3 I could tell a slight difference, by day 7 it was a completely different story out in my yard. We are now 3 weeks in and still no issues! no longer do I have to get the hose out just to clean up after she uses the bathroom. I can pick up her entire bowel movement with the bag and not leave most of it on the ground. I am amazed! I have an 80-lb dog and I give her two bones In the morning along with her breakfast and that's all she needs!

Fed pup his first chew and the next morning, tummy issues were GONE. So far, we're on day 3 and problems have stayed GONE. My guy's small (<7 lbs) so maybe these are super effective because he's so small. He doesn't fully understand these yet, and I've had to break in half for him to actually chomp down, but he was like that with other treats the first few times he had them. Def. recommend.

I was skeptical about these, but they appear to have helped my dog immensely. She had a yeast infection on her skin, and was horribly itchy. At the rate of two probiotic treats a day, it cleared up in just under two weeks. I'm satisfied, and will be purchasing these again.

My dog was under stress and developed uncontrolled diarrhea because I was stressed while my Dad was hospitalized. She had taken probiotics before for GI complaints, as prescribed by her vet. Pet Naturals Daily Probiotics resolved her problem within a week. I gave her 1/2 chew daily because she only weighs 7 pounds. Only negative: they don't stay as fresh as you might hope with the resealable bag. Great product at least for my dog.

has helped my black lab's digestive issues

These have really helped my 8 year old black lab with her digestion. Like most dogs, she likes to get into garbage and eat poop whenever she can. Before starting her on this, her gas was often foul and I could tell when she wasn't feeling well.

This product has helped immensely! Now when she has gas, there is very little scent to it, if any at all. Her tummy rumbles less and she appears happier overall. I will definitely be buying more!

It works without killing your budget

I use this as a supplement for my 12 year old dog in his food. He's always had a weak stomach and had some pretty loose stools before begining his daily dose of this supplement. The probiotics help, allot less fuss than some of the food changes your dog might require when having tummy trouble. The bag lasts for quite a while , about 2 months depending on your dogs weight.
