Had a 4 in gash to the bone. I was alone. The cut was on my arm by the elbow. This stopped ALL BLEEDING in less than a minute. Drove 7 miles to the ER and not 1 drop of blood in the car or on my pants. Nothing less than AMAZING!

This Celox and "ram it in the bullet hole as far as it will go", should save your life. GET TWO. One for the entry wound and one for the exit wound, if there one. Apply direct pressure utilizing the Israeli battle bandage. Elevate if an appendage and get help if possible. If out in the wilderness, keep movement to a minimum. Remember, stop the bleeding or to WILL die; that is a cold, hard fact. Hydrate if possible.

this is for puncture wounds such as stabbed with something or GSW Gunshot wound

I believe you Put this into the puncture wound before inserting the Z-fold gauze ( probably using Celox impregnated Gauze or RAPID Ribbon Celox impregnated Gauze depending on size of wound) topped off with OLAES or Israeli bandage in addition to Tourniquet ( I like Recon Medical or STAT tourniquet)- Ask a Paramedic or ER doctor if questions, I'm not a doctor, just building a >>> Stop the Bleed First Aid Kit

I wish that I had known that the Celox gauze is a smarter way to go because if someone is significantly hemorrhaging blood, the granules in this might just flow right out and not be effective enough. Best bet is to go with gauze so you can pack it into the wound, or better yet, just have both on hand.

My brother who was deployed in the Middle East said this was great stuff stops bleeding. We were impressed when we tried it, nothing works as good as this. We use it for our self and we use it for our horses, dogs and anything that's bleeding. We ride up in the mountains a lot and this is in all our first aid kits. If you're a long ways from help you need this!

This is one of those products that you hope you never need to use. I keep it in my vehicle; it's the "right tool" for deep and serious puncture wounds as it will stop hemorrhage that you can't do anything about with direct pressure. This is not for casual use; if you need to use it then you (or more likely, someone you come upon) is in a last-ditch, hail-Mary situation and you're looking to buy enough time to get the injured to a hospital where surgical repair can be done.

Certainly gives some peace of mind having this in the Med kit. Seems like people are asking the shelf life on this. I got mine in May 2016 and expiry date is March 2020.

I think that the applicator is an excellent idea, a simple solution for deep wounds with small openings.

Good job to the seller on getting me a fresh product with a long shelf life. I ordered this in 12-2014 and it has and expiration date of 9-2019. Almost 5 years!

Also, there is a procedure to the proper use of this product (printed on the back of the package). I would recommend the seller include a photo of the package reverse to better inform potential buyers.
