The year 2010 marked the 50th Anniversary of the UK's first book devoted entirely to the Blues, Paul Oliver's 'Blues Fell This Morning'. Its effect on the 1960s blues boom on both sides of the Atlantic, but especially in the UK, is incalculable. Many of the participants in that boom cite the book as an influence.This collection features many of the tracks Paul Oliver quoted (some of them quite rare) and is intended as both a celebration of, and companion to, a seminal work. The collection is accompanied by a lavishly illustrated booklet, which we hope will be independently prized as a complement to Paul Oliver's original work.
