Attachment hardware BAD!

Great product BUT they really cheaped out on the attachment hardware. You'd have been better to include bailing wire, bubble gum, & duct tape. Seriously disappointed because I expect better from American made. I expect crap from China to be this cheap, not American made. When you receive it, first thing throw away the little bag with hardware for attaching. Get your cordless drill with ⅛ bit. Use a short 5/16 bolt as a locator pin through the shield into the holes in the hood that they want you to use that useless stuff in the bag on. Drill some ⅛ holes and screw on some small durable self tapping screws and attach near the holes they wanted you to use. Do this at each location and be done in 5 minutes. Don't forget to peel the back off the two adhesive strips. BTW the adhesive strips are far more superior at attachment than anything they have in that bag. Good luck!

The AVS bug deflector was exactly the version I was wanting, didn't want the low profile type. Looks great, fits the contours of the 15-16 Ford Superduty very well. The bug deflector itself is very good quality, the hardware on the other hand is cheap and not very effective. The bug deflector has strong tape to help attach it to the bottom side of the hood and keep it in place as well. I would recommend or advise someone to utilize better hardware as I did. Other than the hardware issue, get price and great product.

I have nothing but good things to say about this! I purchased this to help with the amount and bug and rocks that hit my windshield. It fit perfectly on my Ford F-250. It was easy to install and took no time at all. I would recommend this to all my family and friends. Since putting this on my truck we have had less dings in my windshield,

Easy installation, it took about 20 minutes including hood bumper adjustment. It seems to be on there securely, I'll know for sure when I'm zipping down the freeway. I like the look of it, very streamlined. Im really hoping this helps with rocks. I've had 3 chip repairs and a windshield replacement in the past 12 months. It did come with 2 small fine scratches, but I figure it's going to get more in the future. I would recomend this bug shield.

Light scuffs

Like the way product looked and mounts not impressed with packaging before install noticed scuffs on product . Contacted mfg not seller these were obviously on product before shipping . They were fine intel I told them I purchased from amazon . Then it went sideways . I installed and buffed them out . Just thought vent shade should look into there packaging process . Ya they were not interested.

We bought this to replace a stock bug shield from the ford dealership that blew off while driving. This looks identical, it has a much better installation kit then our previous one, it's on solid and isn't going anywhere.

I should of inspected it when i got it in the mail, I went to install it and realized there is a big crack from the center of the screw whole to the edge, If i installed it the whole corner would just break off and end up bouncing around int he wind scratching my hood up. it looks good and looks like it would look good on the truck however being that it was unusable when i got it kind of leaves it to a bad review!

Assembly was very easy. Fit was exact for my 2016 F250 XLT. I am concerned about how this hardware will hold up. The plastic fender seems pretty thick but the hardware seemed cheap. I will give it some time and update once I see how well it works here in florida. It's just about lovebug season so I should know real soon how well it works.

Awesome product! Much better than the new Ford Factory bug shield by far! I had a factory one installed, the double sided tape came loose and destroyed my hood and fender! This screws securely to the underside of the hood and holds firm. I've been through the auto-wash (with brushes) several times with no issues.
